My bandsaw table became rusty, so i tried to restore it using WD40 and sandpaper v Rust Remover.

We decided to revamp the office area, and the first job was to get rid of the old corner unit that we had for the PC, and make a brand new desk for 2 people to sit at, side by side, and we spent less than €50 on the whole thing!!! I decided to see if i could make my own Mortice gauge from some mahogony strips and some brass. I cut the wood on the mitre saw, glued them into blocks, then cut to size on the table saw. i added some brass accents for decoration. For this project, I tried Dowel Jopintery for the first time, using my Dowelmaster jig. Once I understood the principles, it was a nice easy build. Lots of drilling though. I made a simple shop stool this weekend, using a length of 2x4 pine lumber and some 2" strips of 3/4" plywood. The legs had a 7 degree compound mitre cut at each end, and the whole thing was screwed together using pocket holes.
