Software stabilization really degraded the footage, and depending on the strategy used the stabilization can crop out a lot of your frame.
Instead of using software stabilization (I.e. warp stabilization) try:
When shooting handheld opt for 60-120 frames/sec when you slow the footage down to 24fps it will hide a lot of the shakiness. Also, using a strap or grip to help stabilize the camera.
When shooting on a gimbal be sure to balance your camera and try different setting to find the smoothest operation.
