    I'm engineer, too but I haven't yet seen a guy who works clean, technical, even esthetically like an artist and love his/her job (except myself).
    Since he's old one enough, he can be a bridge between old fashion and new so he can make a modernization by the tools and knowledge he has.
    What can we say: Bravo Daniele!
    I hope everybody loves their jobs like you.

      You can tell he's an engineer because of the "like an artist (except MYSELF)".

    Great job done. Perfect. But for last project regarding HDD you spent too much money(drive board for motor). I did same but I used HDD drive board it self. Only add 7805 stabilizer for 5 volt, and applying 12 volt motor start working without stopping. I am agree I can't control RPM, but is good for me

    • @projector7141
      @projector7141 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That potentiometer would get hot under that load. PWM the voltage of the supply allows rpm changes and better heat dissipation (with a heatsink).

    You must be very careful when cutting those motherboards. These types of electronic components have various materials that can be harmful to health if they remain floating in the air and can easily be inhaled. Research more about that.

    I amde the same thing as you at thet end of the video use HS disk as a needele for the clock
    also
    thanks for telling us where the gold was in the tone arm; I use my old hard disks as a gyroscope to stabilize my binoculars in fact I remove almost all the reading part like you but I put the disks back I put x7 or 8 and I put the wahser back on top; if you start the HD now it will have a very marked gyroscope effect I then put it under my binoculars and I now have stabilized binoculars for a few dollars if you have a HD scusi at 7200 rpm it's even better or even the very old ones 3 inches tall
    as for the magnets, I put them in a small 2x4 in. box and they serve as an empty pocket for my monnies
    I don't know how to put a video on utube to show my gyroscope but if you do, please tell me jacquessavard videotron ca

    I really don't think these "3 Amazing Ideas" type of videos serve you or others very well. If I can't tell what a video is about, I simply don't watch them. Also, I have far more time for a 5-minute video than a 15-minute video. I'd be much more inclined to watch them if they were one topic per video. The only reason I watched your video and a previous one is I really like the methods and ideas that you have. I also really like the clean and precise way that you build things. So, just a hint that I never would have watched this, if you weren't the author of them! I think you'll get a lot more views with short well identified topics. All the best! Keep Making!
