Even as living beings we come to attain our goals and evolve into a more advanced species, there will always be questions to be pursued. We will always have something intellectually to do as far as answering questions for all of eternity even after we become eternal beings ourselves. Reality is infinite.

Refuting the "forever universe" hypothesis with copying books analogy is a good one. Another one is for the universe to exist forever you imply that eternity passed before this moment. When in fact eternity can't pass by definition.

of how the universe was put together is quite misleading. Better to say, 'We think we have some idea.'
Look at how he concluded. He thinks that there might be an eternal entity but such entity could not be a personal God. How does he know that? The role of science is to identify what exists but not to impose a limit on what should exist. He is going beyond the realm of science.

Time and space the big problem, we can't seem to comprehend the infinite with our finite perspective. What was before the Big Bang? It always seems to come back to space and time. We can try to think in O and 1's, but our minds are firmly rooted in 1 until we evolve into something else.

origin of universe, nature of time & nature of consciousness should be investigated along with one more issue that is reality. The reality is ultimate, and the universe is like a structure (a temporary hideout) that may be created and may be dismantled but reality will remain. Reality is deeply hidden and ultimate. In fact, we need another philosophy to decode the universe.

obviously deep reality is just a neo platonic black box of emergent everything. That is, it is probably somewhat similar to some AI latent space abstraction on a much grander scale and temporal diversity, which is meta entropically evolving itself towards auto representation and self referential understanding . The Universe/multiverse is but an mere emergent blip within in it with locally distinct spatio-temporal characteristics at a particular information coupling feedback. What's the hypothesis here?
“There exists a nonphysical timeless something-or-other that brought the cosmos into existence.”
    1. It is far from clear that this is even a distinctively theistic hypothesis. Suddenly, you can assign the label “god” to anything you want and pretend you are putting forward theism or that you are establishing theism!
    2. How does that constitute an intelligible explanation for anything? An explanation is supposed to render intelligible the nature and existence of the universe.
Explanations shed light. This hypothesis is shrouded in darkness.
There is no intelligibility/comprehensibility to how the cosmos came into existence which should make you doubt whether an explanation has been given at all.
This is not sophisticated theology. This is at best mysterious theology with little to zero explanatory power, at worst incoherent theology.
Furthermore, it pushes back the question. Why does this nonphysical, timeless something-or-other exist at all? If that thing requires no explanation external to itself, well, we already have cosmos/nature the best candidate for that.
