This is one of the best gourmand fragrances I have in my collection (and I have a large collection). I was never able to find it after the first release sold out so when I saw it was available this year I jumped right away! This was a blind buy for me but when I originally read the notes I knew I would love the fragrance. Another great gourmand I love that is similar to Italica is Hilde Soliani Orgasmo. I enjoyed your review; it was spot on!
Great review. I love Xerjoff as a fragrance house. They definitely scream luxury. I bought a decant of Itálica but it honestly left me a little disappointed. Lira on the other hand is my most favorite scent ever. And I’d argue is the best gourmand out there! I also really love Dama Bianca and Ivory Route by xerjoff, though I wouldn’t really consider those two gourmands.
Thank you! They definitely do! Every part of the brand is luxury including the box lol. I loveeee Lira it's so good! I love Ivory Route also and Dama Bianca and I have good days and bad lol. I also love Golden Dallah!
It must be only me and my body chemistry: I ordered a sample of Italica and I despise the smell!!! It's just HORRIBLE on my skin ... I am super glad I didn't order it by ALL the positive reviews. Alexandria || sample was ordered as well and I could not get enough of it!!! Guess every person has its own taste. Was really excited for Italica though...🤔
You're definitely not alone! There are lots of perfumes that I love on other people but smell so bad on me so yes it totally is body chemistry person to person!!
Maybe, but i ordered my bottle of Italica today for £189 and that is an unbeatable price considering it is a Xerjoff, and just look at the presentation of Xerjoff's fragrances as well as the quality of the juice!
@@crapocroc4427 No, i didn't know about the one that you suggested. To be honest i only ordered a bottle of Italica because it is quite rare even in the UK, and also because of the heavily discounted price that i have got it for. I, never would pay rge full retail price for Italica even if it is as good as people say. I, can live with £189 for a Xerjoff.
I don't think it's in my Top 3! And top 3 is hard lol but probably right now, Eau Duelle from Dyptique, Love & Crime from Ex Idolo, and Benevolence from House of Sillage
Hi Anisha, i love your depth review. I kinda confused to buy it because there are no xerjoff boutiqes in Indonesia. im searching for milky lactonic vanilla gourmand perfumes without any bozzy notes. i have tried ADP vaniglia and it made dizzy because it's so powdery. I have molinard vanille which is the closest milky vanilla perfumes (bit cloying) for me but its longevity is so weak., and also indult tihota (the best milky vanilla but the dried down made me feel boozy. Is it really feel milky all the way?? have you tried Lira? im confused how it compared to Lira.. i really like pure vanilla perfumes which makes it like creamy vanilla ice cream.. Nice video btw, thank you so much..
Interesting! I love Lira personally but I don't think it's quite creamy enough maybe for what you're looking for? I also feel because it has blood orange notes it does feel a little boozy. This one is definitely creamy and also try Eau Duelle EDT from Diptyque. It's a little spicier but it's great.
@@AnishaVellodi thanks for your suggestion, i will try that dyptique in local boutiques.. hmmm actually i haven't try any xerjoff perfumes including Lira, but everybody said that Lira has something vanilla in it, so i just curious about how it compare to italica. which one is more milky? :)

Great review!! My FAVORITE GOURMAND is Unknown Pleasures by Kerosene first then my second is Italica which I absolutely love ☺️💞
I have Unknown Pleasures on my wishlist!! I might have to get it!
Ani is still my favorite but I will try to sample italica and I do enjoy lira from that line
I love Ani as well! Probably more than Italica but it is so different. Ani actually might be more similar to Lira.

@@AnishaVellodi do you like lira or italica more?
Would you mix this with anything? I've just received mine and all I'm getting is the sharp Almond xx
Yes! Definitely mix it in with something you love! If the almond scent is sharp for you, try it with something either much stronger or much sweeter!

Have you tried Trastevere by Pantheon Roma ? Very similar to this one but half the price :)

No I haven't but I'll look into it definitely good to know more affordable, similar options.
i heard they downgraded their packaging to be more ecofriendly andsupport recycling
