Some of my favorite childhood memories consist of coming home after school, watching Sailor Moon, then turning on my SNES to play this game, Buster Busts Loose, Toy Story, Yoshi's Island, DKC1 & DKC2. I miss those days!
one thing i liked about this game is that the npcs didn't just disappear when they went through a door and you followed right behind them like most games. I always felt alone when games would do that, so i appreciated this small aspect as a kid.
That damn slide with the spikes shaggy and Scooby had to go down on the second mystery. Took me forever to beat it. I still have the game today!!! I pull it out from time to time. It still frustrates me today. haha

I loved this game, lol, but it was short as hell, especially when you know where everything is...still a nice change of pace to play something that seems so....unserious, lol.
The game once soft locked on me during the first level. In one room, Daphne would walk through a door, and then vanish. It kept looping this and no matter how many times I reentered the room, the level would not resume.
I owned both this version of Scooby Doo and the Genesis version. I liked them both--this one was more platformer based and the Genesis was more point and click. I finished the Genesis one but this one was too hard for me. I bet if I went back and tried again I could do it though...
Andrew W the Genesis game was harder. The Genesis game was an actual mystery game, this game is just a mix of other genres that fails pretty bad. The shared titles Sega has with the snes, the Sega versions are usually better. However, with RPGs and platformers, snes was definitely better. Beat em ups were kinda tied imo.

It's Even Worse in the Last level where the more you progress, the more the Vampire (J.D. Morgan) gets you and you could actually lose a life. (It Happened to me once.)

@Chris Hansen : Well it's because Daphne in the SNES version has the unusual reddish-brown dress palette instead of her traditional purple dress she always wears in the cartoons. Blame the SNES palette limitations for Daphne having a reddish-brown dress.
+L.S.A Also the map is terrible. Sprite size doesn't help (though only in the tree section, the rest is designed with that in mind). I don't "mind" the whole finding stuff because it's what the cartoon is about technically, but they could've done something more interesting with it. Also, cases 2 and 3 are hard to solve because of how annoying the levels are while the last one is very easy to navigate on, just proving how the backgrounds really didn't help this game. They did a worthwhile rendition on the cartoon's idea... but the execution fails because of the design flaws.
Hi, I am giving a long chance to certain games, especially when it is a genre so I like it, a kind of graphic adventure, but this game is very bad. It just is not fun how things are arranged to do and explore. It has all the potential but it takes advantage of it. Good graphics and sound is not bad but badly implemented. The game has conceptual errors wherever you look ... mobility, jump, shooting, map, secondary enemies, capacity of the container of items, compulsory to go on one side and not another that is clearly open in the case of the park Of fun "MORE FUN" ... I am very sorry but it is a waste of game.
