Thanks, great explanation. Especially the graph at 2:50 that's a very great visualization of the structure.

There is a blaring error in the slide labeled "Bell-LaPadula Confidentiality Model - Lattice" at 2:19. Your words were correct in describing the 3 states (simple, star, and strong star) but the image is incorrect. The left-most (READ ONLY) user example can read up a security level (violating the NRU principle) but surprisingly cannot read down to a lower security level, which is wrong (i.e. a Top Secret user should be able to read Secret and Unclassified information). In the simple security property, you should be able to read down but not up as your words correctly stated. Other than that slide error, the other two examples were good and overall it was a really good video.
BTW, It seems like there is a similar graphical error at 4:53 for Biba Model where arrow for read down is showing green also instead of white w/ red X. Unless I'm totally misinterpreting these graphics!

Thanks for this! I noticed the same error in the diagram.

I think you misinterpreting as you say, because the direction of the arrows is not the matter regarding to directions of up/down etc. Up or down means the classification labels like top secret, secret, etc. and the labels located upper side of the screen is greater than the down.

@@cemci9678 I think I interpreted it correctly as the slides were updated and is correct now. Thank you!

Bell - LaPadula is Non-discretionary or mandatory. He states discretionary, which is wrong.

in school we learned its both combined MAC and DAC, because you have labeling (MAC) and clearances on persons (DAC). tell me if I'm wrong

It admits a discretionary policy in addition to the mandatory policies.
