Neo is very hydrophobic when applied wet as with Gyeon wet coat. But you have to shake the bottle properly before because Neo separates a lot as soon as it says. Give Neo another chance and test Neo by putting it dry in one field and wet in one field and in the third dry first and then wet on it and you and the whole world will see. I have a 5l can with Neo.
its terribly bad in terms of gloss and slickness. its like the least glossy product ever my eyes can even see the opaqueness to it. but the gonionphoter meter puts real data around it. its like 4-5 units lower on gloss than the other 2 QD's here. thats a ton. but it does bead like crazy.
So, I had a play around with BH Quick detail spray this weekend. I mixed it to around 1:9 or 1:8. I just left a waxy mess. I tried buffing it out and it just went wild to the point of just leaving it. I came back from work and went over it with a polymer based rinseless wash (QD polymer based too I believe) and it managed to remove the mess. What am I doing wrong? I've used distilled water and shacked it all up. I used it sparingly, 4-5 squirts to the bonnet and it just make a waxy filmy mess that I couldn't remove until today. 😮
pass mate at that ratio is should be a doddle. I just hurl it on and buff it out to a shine. or if the cars wet I spray it everywhere and just towel dry.
@forensicunplugged4295 That what I thought. Just hurl it on and wipe to a shine. Instead, apply sparingly, smear it round, buff to a smear and give up. Rinseless wash the next day to remove. I might try knocking it back a bit further with dilution. If that doesn't work, then I guess it's 18 months old and is probably finished. 🤔

Don't worry about the editing
Is shellshock not a spray on rince off product?
no but can be used on wet car
It is best used as a spray on rinse off but can also be used dry. Maybe instructions need to be clearer about this
First!!!!
