+Martin Golan Follow these steps to remove and reinstall your slide - in HP ink cartridges: - Turn on the printer. - Open the ink cartridge access door. - Wait until the carriage stops moving. - Push in on a cartridge to release it, and then remove it from the printhead. - Slide the cartridge back into its slot, and then push forward to lock it in place. - Remove the remaining cartridges from the printhead. - Slide a cartridge back into its slot, matching the letter on the cartridge with the letter on the printhead. - Reinstall all remaining cartridges. - Close the ink cartridge access door.
@@HPSupport I've done that a hundred times and I still get that annoying notice, and must go to the printer, pull out and reinstall a cartridge - or sometimes just open the cover without touching the cartridge, to get it to print one more page. Then the msg returns. The cartridge is from Instant Ink. Did HP send me a bad cartridge? Never had so much trouble with a printer before.
@@ragman I had the same problem just recently and what I found out is that you have to take out one cartridge at a time so I took out my colored 1 and my black 1 and just put my black 1 in and it worked just fine I don't know what the problem is with the colored 1 but I'm not gonna chance it I don't really need the color anyway but if you do then just do it 1 at a time!
Is there a video like this for the HP 7760? Because my printer is nothing like what is shown here. I can't figure out how to release the *****ing cartridges!

not very helpful! have removed the plastic tabs covering the side pinholes as described on refills (though not in this editorial) however there seems to still be a problem! printer keeps saying to remove and reinstall? upon closer inspection, I noticed a tiny piece of plastic covering the hole in the rear of the cartridge (which is difficult to get at! does this also need to be removed or pierced before installing there is no mention of this anywhere???? does this tiny bit of plastic need removing or piercing?????

Also going nuts with this on my Envy 4520. It's from Instant Ink so I know the cartridge is good. Tried everything on site.
