- On today’s episode, we pair Tazo black blend tea with Peterson’s Early Morning Pipe. Jeremiah describes how he acquired this imported English tea and some proper tea etiquette while Scott discusses his favorite drink when he’s sick and his daddy/daughter date fail.

I like Early Morning Pipe but never tried it with tea, I usually drink it with coffee.

I love the tobacco-tea combination. Unlike coffee, tea, accentuates the calming dimension of pipe-smoking.

Early Morning Pipe and Nightcap (also Dunhill / Peterson) pair well with Twinings Lady Grey.
That blend is in a pleasant place somewhere between English Breakfast and Earl Grey, less dominant than either of the two.

I also have a Barracinni 628 Mare Blu. I've smoked well over 300 bowls with it. It's starting to get really dark on the top half of the bowl but still smokes like the day I got it. I would definitely buy another one. The price is right. Enjoy your videos, thanks

In the summer I like Virginia's or vapors (Virginia periques) paired with sweet tea. Right now my favorite is a can of AriZona Arnold Palmer: 1/2 black tea, 1/2 lemonade. Delicious with some Orlik Golden Sliced.
@@invismonster I’ve heard Virginia’s are a great summer time smoke. Neither of is are really into VaPers…yet…but maybe when it gets hot again next summer, we may look to it for a change of pace from the English’s that are about to take over our fall and winter. When I want hot tea,I drink Taylors of Harrogate Yorkshire Gold (from England). You can get from Amazon, eBay, etc.)

Nice - EMP always be my go to blend, though have yet to pair it with tea. Black coffee is preferred but cold water is a must (especially so in my part of the world). I would think some Chinese tea will be good pairing (perhaps chrysanthemum) if you like it straight. But what do I know; am an idiot 😅 with pipes. Happy days ahead guys
@@jefveleonrengga6950 EMP is good!! Have you tried GL Pease’s Chelsea Morning? I think it’s very similar to EMP, just a little more refined, smoother, but stronger profile. Yes, coffee is certainly a must for us! But tea was a good change of pace and a nice compliment to the tobacco, if you ever want to mix it up. Chinese tea, ok!! We’ll have to check that out. Hot Toddies have far more medicinal effectiveness than tea, Starbucks serves sewage, Dunkin Donuts coffee is acceptable in an emergency, and mushrooms are not a substitute for coffee, for the record.
Bangers and mash is English. My wife is my trusted expert on such things because she's of half English descent. My heritage is close (Scottish, Norwegian, Danish, among several other Eastern European countries) and proudly contains no measurable trace English. Daily, the Scottish part of my brain pipes up to remind our kids to repress their Englishness.

EMP is just awesome. One of my OG favorites. Nice coughing start - maybe it should be called Too Early Morning Pipe? Hopefully the pink jacket is off soaking up an oil spill under your car now. "How sweet." Now that was funnier than you gave it credit for. "Slurp and blow" - what's next Hawk Tuah? Earl Gray is a good tea. Tea is good, but it is NOT a substitute for coffee. Mushroom Tea?
