Holly has the Renaissance Festival too. Wish I could show you the old feed store where we got our chick's, a ducklings and gosling from. Then would get a malt from Macs pharmacy. It was a few doors south of Blue Willow. Old fashioned drugstore soda fountain counter with red swivel stools, red booths.Kids went there after football games. Glad you enjoyed Historic Holly!
Love your videos but I do have a suggestion. When the vibe really isn't your thing, give the camera to your wife so we can get a slower look at things she is drawn to. The camera work seemed very rushed in this one, blurry....like maybe you were in a hurry to find things you like. That was definitely a shop I would enjoy poking around in. Thank you for seeking out so many neat shops and taking us along for the ride!!
Mike must have known we were gonna smack him for the rush job. I agree, Amber should have been in charge of the camera, but I could tell Mike was getting a bit burned out by so many shops in one day.
I agree with you when you say that the majority of the inventory is not your taste. I as a collector I am much more into antiques and collectibles than decor. That being said is decor a more or less viable business plan than focusing all your efforts to more hardcore/higher end collecting tastes? When I am in antique malls, I see a lot more volume in cheaper decor being sold than more niche antiques.
Decor definitely sells and in certain malls more then antiques but I’d say you would always be better off having antiques cause I believe those will last through many trends like shabby chic decor

Will work on that! Was a long day so I’m sure that factored in as well
I noticed an old globe and wondering what they usually sell for.
Depending on size date and condition $25-$100+

They should show the price it was to the sale price now so you would know what you’re saving
Will do so in future videos
Slow down
Will work on that
