This is a great tutorial series Cara! You did a great job explaining everything. Both bracelets are beautiful, but I absolutely ADORE the vintage one. I love the little bits of lace you incorporated, they're a nice touch. TFS! :)
I think you did very well and thank you so much for a lovely video ,,the bronze one ,,is the links in between double links ,,like 3 links in a row ,,hope i am making sense,,thank youso much
Hi Cara! Just haunting your charm bracelet videos again...LOL! Loving it and thanks for the continued inspiration you give me. Have an awesome weekend my friend! xo
+LILRHONDALEE Hey lady! Glad you're liking them! I made some charms recently and I realized how long it's been since I played with my beads. I kinda missed it.
Luv your bracelets! I have a question...regarding attaching the large shank style buttons. Do you just attach with one jump ring to the chain? They seem to want to hang face down when I have tried that way. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! TFS!
I love your bracelets. I've been playing around with chain I found on sale. Your videos are great. Anyone viewing them should consider the age. Seriously, this is even better since it's from 2012. Charm bracelets are like hide and seek so some of the better components are fun to search for. When they're done they become time capsules.
I enoyed your videos. I started out making my bracelets the same way you do. However, many of my charms were costly and I feared they would fall off, especially on a bracelet that will be moved with every hand or arm movement. It was suggested to me to use double-wraps on the beads and charms. This is a lot more work, however it ensures that an expensive bead or charm or vintage item will not fall off, leaving a unsatisfied customer. Just a tip I learned from an expert who took the time to help me out.
Thank you so much, I have view the series of 4 videos and it was very helpful. I am French Canadian I understood everything and it is not always the case. I am now ready to my first bracelet.
Your bracelets are beautiful and I appreciate your tips and ideas however, I wouldn't call these tutorials. Too much left to the imagination, I would like to see how you actually attach all the charms and buttons. Or at least show one or two. I've made bag charms and have found it a bit tricky to attach them to chain. I noticed you attach the charm to a split ring or jump ring. I tried to attach the charms directly onto the chain without using a split ring or jump ring. I turned the top of the head pin around the chain link. i guess I've been doing it the hard way. lol. Thank you anyway. xx
You did a fabulous job. Do you just put in one button or charm in each ring or do you sometimes add to things into one ring? Love your bracelets. RObin
Great tutorial, loved the braclet made with the purples. You are so easy to listen to and go slowly (which is nice) and are so precise....it is so easy to understand what you are doing, Thank You very much for taking the time to make these videos, I had never thought of using buttons in making the braclets I have made so far but will try something new on the next one I make. Thank you for inspiration!
Hi I loved it! I would like to start making them, but I don't know where to buy charms at a reasonable price. Would like to start my daughters a business! Please help if you know where I can get nice charms not so expensive and also if you have any video showing how to make rings with charms!
The charms I use are not fine jewelry. There are several sellers on Etsy that I like…I would recommend you go there and do a search…you will find a ton of options. I don't have any videos on rings yet. TFW!

Louise Thériault You are very welcome...have fun making the bracelet!
Love your bracelets.
How long do you cut the chains at? I have thought about making charm bracelets but had no idea on how to go about it. Great tutorial.
That really depends on your wrist size, how much you want it to dangle, how many charms you will add and the clasp you are using.

These are beautiful bracelets and great tutorials. How long does the entire process take? I'm hoping to put together 10 within the next month.
Where did you get the chain?
I got most of my chain at Michaels or on Etsy.
Where do you get the vintage buttons?
