There are still some issues with the GX Speed mode, so for now I do not recommend for people to use it!

@grims2k No, use Safe Mode per EGG. I also recommend safe mode, perfect, no double click, and incredible latency
@@GRiMS2KI've been using the mouse for about a month and I got one instance of it actuating as if I held M1 down (I was continually firing my weapon until I clicked M1 again). I switched to Safe Mode too for now.

After the newest software and firmware update its fixed now. I have used it for 10 hrs in Valorant without any issues. Testing it on Humanbenchmark reaction time test I averaged around 200ms without it and 172ms with it.

I have the 8k version on the way. Everything about it seems GOATed. Really would rather deal with a wire than have to remember to charge the mouse or keep track of a usb dongle.
lets be realistic bc it just sounds like youre coping rn, its not hard to remember to charge a mouse once every 3-6 days for an hour & even if you forget its not like you cant play w the charger in for 30-an hour & how hard is it to "keep track" of a dongle you plug it in once & forget its there

been using this on 2k hz with gx safe mode, honestly one of the best feeling mice ive ever used. if you play on 30cm/360 or faster you dont feel the cable at all, even with no bungee.
Idk i still feel that mental block even if its only subconsciously any mouse with a wire makes me play less confident

it happened with wireless mouse too, so many people were doubting the switch to wireless because "wireless means bad latency!!" and tons of people had that latency in the back of their mind

I am well past the days of going to lans (I'm 33) so I really don't mind the wire these days. I'd agree though if I moved my setup regularly, wireless would be required now. I've been dying for Haus to confirm my thoughts and the info from the endgame discord about the click latency. This mouse feels better than everything I've tried in the past and I have pretty much every mouse worth mentioning from the last 3-5 years.

I had issues with a few wireless mice due to interference making them completely unplayable. So I noticed this one has a rat tail, not only did it fix my issues like Haus said, it's dam near perfect right out of the box. Only subjective thing to say about his is do you mind a cord? And will the shape fit you? Because shape is king.
Does it require any software to use? I'm looking to get a good mouse for work but they require that it be plug and play only (can't install any software).
XM2 8K when? Awesome review as always haus, glad to see you've enjoyed it just as much as I have. As a reviewer, it's difficult to keep a bungee and a wired mouse on your desk, but I can't get rid of this thing any time soon. Huge shoutout to EGG for showing how much they care with this mouse.

I'm waiting for my op1 8k😃 i do not travel a lot/go to lan, so wired mice is not an issue for me, especially with a bungee🙂Not that i have any major issues with any of my wireless mice, still not having to think about charging the battery or getting interference is nice!
Hi Haus, I would like to see some tests to see how much 2k hz, 4k hz & 8k hz affects cpu usage and how much that will affect fps for cpu bottleneck games like Fortnite, cs2, etc.. Across different 4k implementations like from VGN, Pulsar, Logitech, ULX, Ninjutso, etc
Upgrading from my very old and less premium mouse, I'm just happy to have a slender, lightweight, and affordable mouse with top specs in every metric (except wires).
I felt the stock feet were too slow for me. Slapped on Tiger Ice v2's and in combination with my Hayate Otsu Soft it's an absolute dream. Luckily I don't have cable traumas, so it's a non-issue for me even without a bungee.

at computex the op1w 4k was presented, apparently it will be released in mid july (what is it already?) it is supposed to be a wireless version of the op1 8k. i think this would be the perfect mouse for you

If you don't mind wired this is probably the best you can get. Picked up one recently after using wireless for years and I honestly don't feel the cable I was hesitant to get it because of it but it was worth it.
just came here to say this is the best mouse ive ever tried, my aim with this mouse instantly felt a lot better. i did change the skates with the ones on their website but damn my aim is god tier with this mouse.
watching the video made me want to see if this had been a problem in my case, I dusted off my Mz1 and opened Kovaaks (I haven't used a wired mouse in years), on my skypad 3.0 with the pulsar bungee mouse with almost the same weight between my G pro Superlight (same mouse feet, xraypad obsidian) I can tell you that the difference between cable and non-cable is not a problem for me, the thing I noticed most however is how much difference it makes in how it is distributed the weight inside the mouse. Although the MZ1 should be slightly less heavy than the GPX, on the mat the GPX seems lighter and this gives me a more pleasant sensation.

Does Op1we worth it if i like to use wireless mouses? I have 17x9 hands and i am using relaxed claw.
I have 19x10 hands aswell with a claw/fingertip grip hybrid almost. I'm afraid this mouse might be too small for me. Thoughts?
For some reason using 8K on this mouse does not bring my FPS down in the same way that it does for wireless 4K on other mice. I don't know what it is, but I've chalked it up to EGG magic. And the cable is a non-issue for me so I'm gonna be sticking with this and the Sora V2 for the foreseeable future.
That does not make sense! Polling rate is polling rate, I recommend you run some benchmarks. What can happen is that you struggle with interference at 4K, but this does not drop your framerate.
@@hausgamingI think it's connected with my CPU (an i7-9700K), running CS2. I've tried Razer's, G-Wolves', Ninjutso's, and Zaopin's dongles. Tried connecting them straight to the motherboard's USB ports, and also on a USB hub. At 1K polling everything is fine, I get around 240-300 FPS depending on the map. Once I switch to 4K, AND once I start moving my mouse, my FPS drops significantly and the game becomes choppy. It recovers once I stop moving the mouse. Weird.
I really loved this mouse shape, fantastic claw/ aggressive claw but the bloody back of the mouse has a sharp ridge tapered in the middle of palm contact zone. So I noticed it alot and stopped using it. 19x9.5cm hands.

I enjoy it alot, best coating ever and something i really really like on this mouse are the almost straight side walls, i tend to grab my mouse a little bit further to the front or further to the back depending on situation, weapon and also to relax my wrist, without having to change the gripstyle if that makes sens. Thats also the main reason i don't like the G Pro shapes the round shape always forces the mouse the same way into your hand, not with this mouse, absolutly love it 👍👍👍

I just got this mouse, the mouse wheel button always spams to clicks when I use it. Like if i use the mouse wheel button to open a web page, it will open 2 of them, like if I double click the page. Whats up with that, can't seem to find help for that anywhere.

I paracorded my dav3 and in mouse tester at 8khz sometimes two data points are sent at almst the same time and sometimes the time between updates is more like 0.2-0.25ms. I don't remember if it was like that with the stock cable but I assume that's the interference you were talking about. But even when this is happening the mouse still performs like 4khz in that case and I much rather have 4khz like performance with a good cable than 8khz with a heavy shielded cable. It doesn't really matter if an update is delayed by 0.1ms, a good cable is much more important
You are likely running into worse issues than "8khz working as 4khz" when it comes to interference! It depends a lot on the cable!

I actually whipped out my old Xlite. Yeah, the Xlite with a wire, the OG. Hahaha! And it still performs. Paracord sags under the mouse a bit yeah, but shapewise, buttons I swapped to TTC 80Ms and scroll wheel were still operational and the mouse actually felt good in-hand. I'm pondering if I want the Xlite V3 eS, DAV3, or even the Thorn (SEA country so Vaxee sad) and I thought the Xlite OG would give me a proper "ceremonious reintroduction" in getting a new ergo since I've been mainly using ambi's like the X2 BL Edition and Helios II Pro.
Do I forgive them for the XMW2 and cope a copy or do I hold out on my order lol.

Can your OP1 8k reach 8k.. I've only managed to get mine to reach 6k
@@dillacorn_linux yes. It's more dependant on your OS/PC configuration than the mouse itself. Try disabling c states etc

In my opinion You should not complain about the cable. In the end it's a wired mouse and It should be reviewed as a different category. It's just not fair for wired mice. Review the cable but do not blame mouse for being wired.
That's exactly how the review played out. I do not understand how you think I complained about the cable? The mouse is reviewed as wired, I just mention that the cable is a deal breaker for me, but it's nothing negative towards the mouse itself :D

why dont more games support 8000hz? its 2024 yk, valorant i have no issues with using it as they have a raw input buffer setting, wish more games had it.

I had no issues with 8Khz in CS2. I am running 13900K and 6400Mhz which may be a factor.

I am a bit regret of buying lamzu 4k, it's a good mouse a has good shape for my hand but I didn't enjoy the clicks so much.

Objectively speaking clearly better but the shapes are totally different. If you like "bulky" ergos then you will definitely prefer Outset AX over this.

i have spatha x from asus (liked it) but its huge compared to outset and now im using outset as my main , and i also bought the NP-01 from vaxee its a bit tiny but it isnt that huge of a problem

I played CoD4 for Reason! I only played CS with Finnish teams, and never competed at an international LAN tournament. In CoD I played for EYEballers, Dignitas, SK-Gaming, TEK-9 and Reason Gaming!

Having switched from the Razer Deathadder V3 to the Endgame Gear OP1 8K mouse, I found that I was able to make much sharper, cleaner, and more instantaneous shots with the Deathadder V3. I came to this conclusion after using the OP1 8K for 2 months and then switching back to the Deathadder V3 when the mouse wheel broke. Despite the OP1 8K having superior specs on paper, I believe the Deathadder V3 is better

Yeah mechanically its amazing but it's a shit shape. Had it and returned it. Way too narrow for me. I have 18.3 cm in length and 10 cm in width. 8k didn't work with my 3060, massive stuttering, 4k was smooth though.

It's not only a good deal for a budget crowd, it's literally the best mouse (if you like the shape that is) for people who don't mind wire or even prefer wired mice.
