I’m 73years old and for my First Christmas my mother bought a little doll and dressed it as a fairy. I still have it and it’s still very pretty when we use it every year. When I was born, in 1950, Britain was still recovering from WWII and fabric was rationed. My little fairy’s dress is made from white parachute silk.

I used to make one Christmas quilt a year. I stopped a few years ago. But, with the 3 yard quilt patterns, I'm back in business. Thanks!

Great show of kits and fabric, Fran and Hannah. My favorite Christmas memory is collecting ornaments with my two children when they were very small. Each year we would pick out a new ornament for each one. I would put the year on the ornaments so the following years when we put out the ornaments again and so on and so on. The children could see the previous years on their ornaments. This was so much fun we would make a whole day of it going out to pick out ornaments. Also buying Christmas wrapping ribbon and bows. Then I would let each one of my children wrap a gift from them to the other sibling. And put it under the tree to start out the decorating of the Christmas tree.

I used to put up two trees one was the kids tree that they had all plastic ornaments and the rest were the ornaments they made. The second tree is entirely blown glass food and beverage ornaments that gets added to every year! When the kids grew up they took parts of their own tree as being ornaments for their own home.

I love Moda Grunge fabric. It brings so much dimension and interest to basic fabric. I love to pair it with bold prints like Tula Pink and Kaffe Fasset. This Gold Star fabric is great!

Ive got my 1st Chritstmas quilt all cut out and ready to sew. I make my kids a special ornament every year, so it;s fun to see the "evolution" of my crafting trends and the ornaments always reflect what the kids were into during that year. These ornaments always tend to be the kids favorites!

I like the Shoo Fly block a lot, and made your Heartland pattern using Halloween fabric. I love the way it turned out, and it was quick and easy to make. Thanks for the great videos.

Oh, that would be so nice to have the patterns in a more traditional queen size. I could use help with the math. Thank you.

We suggest 12 yards of fabric for a queen/king quilt top using one of our patterns. The general idea is to continue making additional blocks to create more rows and columns until you get the desired size needed. 🥰

I agree. I wonder if something can be done to cool it down? Maybe there is a way suggested online. If you can't fix ir maybe Mike and Patty can try it out to see if they like it.
