17 - Solving & Graphing Absolute Value Inequalities in Algebra, Part 1

In this lesson you will learn how to solve inequalities that have absolute values in them. We do this by translating the absolute value term into a compound inequality joined by either an "and" or an "or".
Then, we can solve the resulting compound inequality as we have done in previous lessons and graph the solution.

Confused as to how three minus two-X somehow became negative two -X when it didn't start out that way.

While solving absolute inequalities, I think we need to switch the sign and symbol as well. This is not the case when the absolute value is less than negative number,intact no solution.
