Make It Vegan with Vicki & Ayana FT. Florian Loy - French Crepes

We are so thrilled to have our first guest on our show, Make It Vegan with Vicki & Ayana. He came in all the way from FRANCE! Our good friend and fellow acting alum, Florian Loy. Watch as he incorporates his French tradition of making crepes with new vegan ingredients. We made not one, but TWO forms of vegan crepes for your entertainment. Serves 3 to 5 people
Vegan Crepe - Oat Milk/Just Egg/Earth Balance butter
2 eggs - 2 tbs of Flax seeds and 6 tbs of water (mix together and let it sit for 5 minutes minimum)
1.75 tbs of Earth Balance
1.65 cups of flour
10 ounces of Oat Milk
1 ounce of Rum
1 tbs of sugar
1 tbs of canola oil
Vegan Crepe - Flax Milk/Flax Egg/Earth Balance butter
2 eggs - 6 tbs of Just Egg
1.75 tbs of Earth Balance
1.65 cups of flour
10 ounces of Flax Milk
1 ounce of Rum
1 tbs of sugar
1 tbs of canola oil
Recipe:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix together
Refrigerate overnight or for a few hours
Warm the pan on the stove on medium
Add 1-2 tbs of canola oil (don’t want it to be too oily)
Pour the combined ingredients in the pan (form a circle)
Wait for the edges to harden and the crepe can slide before flipping over
Repeat last step and remove crepe when fully cooked through
Dress as desired (agave or maple syrup, powdered sugar, vegan whip cream, vegan nutella, fruit)
Eat and enjoy :)
