Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started traveling full-time January 10, 2016. While daily vlogging was not the original plan, we were having way too many cool experiences not to share every single day! Now travel vlogging is our full-time gig and we feel like we have the greatest job in the world! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

I think the best part (hands down) of traveling full time together is that you get to spend all that time together!! That was the best part of our trip to Iceland was just getting to spend 10 days completely together without other people. I'd love to spend time together like you guys do. Love the Q&A's

I feel like Kara is more free and fun-loving and Nate is more bossy and always tends to take control. But that role needs to be taken by somebody to stay on top of everything and make sure everything stays on schedule. They both fill necessary roles for this whole experience to run effectively and stay fun and exciting.

I live my life missing the community at home and trying to build community where I am. I don't have much money so my dreams of seeing the world is realized through watching your videos. have been retired together for three years and spend 24/7 together. We travel a great deal and I think it's easier to be on the road than at home. Discovered you doing research for Portugal (went in March) and have been following you ever since. Keep up the great job. You're either someplace I want to go or someplace I've already been that I can relive through you.

We are RVers so that is how we get our traveling in. We have made many family memories traveling with our camper.

another great video. thanks for touching on this! we've done a bunch of traveling and when we're bot we live in a tiny bachelor. we're working towards the full nomad leap. our friends think we're crazy for spending so much time together, but hearing this helps us just feel like were in on a secret! lol.

We have been married for 25 years . In 2013 we bought a Bnb and we did everything. If you work well together and you like each other you can do it . Enjoy your travels enjoy the moments.
My husband and I work together in the same office and live together. We are about to do the travel for a year together thing. Most couples don't have the patience to live and work together on a long-term basis. It takes hard work and communication and recognizing that sometimes it's okay to get space from each other. We have been doing this for about 15 years now :) and we are still going strong! Haven't killed each other yet!
You four look like you mesh very well together. This Q&A style was neat. I would say on the numbers calculated? You forgot holidays off as extra and vacation weeks. So I still agree that as full time travelers and working together you have almost double. But 9-5 will have a little more than those hours. Funny you guys did this, that is one way I sold us buying an RV traveling together. I compared hours spent with each other to spent at work with co workers. That was a depressing difference. I laughed [pretty hard imagining Alyssa trying to slam a door and it not letting her. THAT comic relief is needed sometimes. One fight I went to storm off from my husband and I had been losing weight, these drawstring pants just fell straight to my ankles. I was wearing no underwear and then couldn't walk. I turned around really fast to be all " DO NOT LAUGH AT ME.." and he was trying not to and it was infectious. Perfect timing.

Just a thought. In the reseller community on TH-cam, they have meet ups where folks make a plan to actually connect in person at various places. Might be a fun idea for you guys to meet some of us in real life.

I never have 5 hours per day wirh my spouse. I have about 1-2 hours max, depending on the day. And on weekends on saturdays approx. 4-6 hours and on sundays 6-12 hours. I enjoy the days where we have a full day so much. You appriciate those days much more.

Sounds like Kara has a touch of hypoglycemia. I have it so I can tell you eating something substantial when you feel that way is key!! Having a diet with 5-6 small meals can help maintain your blood sugar but it's a lot of work!!

Sometimes older people are much more fun to hang out with. But I'm not a camper. But I do prefer older people because they just let things roll off their backs. They give so much wisdom even if having a beer cooking over a campfire.
