TIP: When submitting your application, answer all the questions exactly as if they will be asking you the same questions in person, because they WILL repeat some of the questions in person. This is without a doubt an entrapment process. This is a test of your character.

TIP: During the interview, be polite but don't get too friendly with their representative, only answer questions that are asked, don't divulge more than you have to. This should be the same way a person deals with law enforcement. Anything you voluntarily say maybe held against you.

Did you recite the oath of allegiance?

No. I was not familiar with the oath she read off. I always thought it was "I pledge allegiance to the flag...etc.", but it wasn't. So we all just said yes (I affirm) whatever she had read.

Did they even give the citizens some stick flags with USCIS embossed on the stick?

No, I didn't know that was the norm. Now I wished they had.
