I really enjoyed your journey. I completely agree that you have to believe in what you're doing. If you can build your platform organically and it's working, that's the right decision.

On topic; I hope you have the money or backers in place to get your product to market ASAP so that the good investors come flooding in to support future growth. 💪
Off topic; Seattle seems to be deserted in terms of foot traffic, my current home town in the UK has about 250,000 people and our foot walks are much busier than the ones I see in your videos. 😂

🤣😅, it’s because it’s raising and many people work from home 😅

Your enthusiasm is admirable, and so is your ambition. I feel that I can relate to why VC funding is probably not going the very best for you. Simply put, VCs look for unicorn exits, your product though is something meaningful for creators. I just can’t see how you would be execute at the scale you want. It’s like a needle in a haystack. Even if you were in a position to find a cofounder, I’ve seen to many of these products fail. The economics of marketplaces require significant investment, it’s one of the most toughest ideas to scale. You’ve almost got to change peoples behaviours. That’s where the difficulty is. I’ve seen far too many of these products across our team giving it a miss. It’s not merely disruptive, nor is it addressing a TAM that you could steel a small share from without significant CAPEX. You need to pivot to a smaller niche, especially if you are bootstrapping without a cofounder.

That’s a very interesting assumption you made there. Some of the points you raised may be very true for Marketplaces, but we are not a marketplace. We a B2B2C SaaS platform, which means Creators don’t need to be able to search brands on our platform to use it, vice versa. A marketplace feature is very far in our product roadmap, and that was intentional: it requires driving significant traffic to enable all users on the platform to get value from it and continue using it. Let me put it this way, our first feature is a media kit…this SaaS product is only for creators, a custom page they create on the web with their own custom URL, and they use it to reach brands. To put it into perspective: Amazon.com is a marketplace, Shopify is a SaaS platform. Both help businesses connect with their customers - just a different approach.

@@Pheora interesting, albeit I’ve not really looked into your product extensively. That was the impression that I gauged from some of your videos. I’m very familiar with marketplaces so thank you for ratifying it.

@@Pheora For you information, shopify is more then a saas platform, it’s multi tenanted and also serves as a marketplace to those contributing to one of its many verticals.

@@Pheora also large creators and I’m not talking about micro creators prefer to be managed by an agency. Where fees and licensing is negotiated. Have you currently onboarded any creators?

@@SM-hf3kp Thank you for the feedback on the impression you picked up. It's certainly helpful, because it helps me understand what I need to clarify in future videos. I enjoy talking to other creators and brands for the same reason, feedback for growth.
