It’s called a “go around” meaning something on landing wasn’t safe so the captain will decide to go around or land at the alternative airport, it’s totally safe and a pre requisite alternative prior to takeoff. Glad you guys got some nice waves 🌊

So funny I was out I went out today it was 6-8 and I went over the falls and landed on my neck as a life guard here I was like shoooot I’m fine now tho that was my break if ur ever looking for a job I would not recommend Newport Beach lifeguard the amount of people that break their necks here and we have had a lifeguard die saving someone here if u plan on visiting please go anywhere but the wedge and if u are just watch DONT GO IN please
