I'm just so happy seeing those 3 at a table
2 veterans, one singular welsh
Felix looked like he was having a transcendental experience after eating that curry
Thats the power of spice. It's like having a psychadelic experience but instead of pleasure and visions it's just pain
@@SeanSMST the spice must flow?
10:08 the hesitation. It's all right the first few bites but when you really get into it, then it gets to you.
Was this during the bikeride???? The thought of risking such spicy food then physical activity with no bathroom in sight is horrifying lol
They were probably in the mindset of "If it happens it's free content" lol.
Also they are probably used to it after living there for a while.
In many countries spicy/heavy food it's more normal unlike for example americans that can get affected very easily by spicy or condiments in food and they even take some form of medicine in case they feel bad later.
So many people in other countries are more confident about their ability to handle spicy stuff.
@@mythicalsalmon3621 Japan isnt known for their food being spicy lmao
@@invertedcrayon They do have novelty spicy dishes, which are inedible to sane people.
@@Neojhun every country has this lol
Of course Connor is wearing his adult diaper during those bike rides
having tried coco ichibanya. Above level 4, you will not be able to taste the dish at all. It will just be heat and more heat
For me, i can handle most spice but i like spice that enhances my food, I do not like eating really spicey food just because it's spicey. I know they did it as part of the challenge and to raise more money, not for the enjoyment. When i go to an Asian food place in USA i do tend to ask for extra spicey but it's nothing compared to this i imagine! There was also a clip of one of them saying that waiter asks if they were cycling and warned against ordering a 20 and cycling, haha.
Right!? I love spicy food, but if the spice gets in the way of the actual taste and enjoyment of the food, I don't like it.
You can see Felixs face go red in real time. Wow that must be something else.
i generally enjoy spicy food however when I had even level 5 Coco I couldn't handle it. Most likely due to the fact that it is sort of artificially added spice rather than cooked chilis etc
Had level 10 recently. This one wasn't really spicy like the way 불닭 or extemely spicy wings burns for me. Been trying to go up the ladder of spice for the curry, but it hasn't been challenging yet.
I'm happy this video exists, it impossible for me to watch 8 hr of stream or vod of this
If you haven’t found it already they’re on the Cdawgvods channel
Oh man, I could go for a tasty curry right about now.
I ate soup curry in hokkaido and they had 1-20. It said after 5 it would be spicy. We took 3 and I had to reorder rice it was so spicy
I'm a level 4 spicy kinda gaijin. But the place I go only goes up to 5...
Coco Curry's scale is wonderfully deceptive. As most scales usually expect the heat to double at worst and at best go incrementally from the previous level. Coco's scale goes up exponentially. 4-5 is tolerable for me with 3 as my happy medium of heat and flavour... i can only imagine how hot a 9 and higher gets xD
@RocKM001 For me my local Coco curry level 4 & 5 are not spicy enough but it's been years since I went to eat there & might have improved
Coco Curry spice levels also just vary depending on which place you go to. They're never consistent. One Coco ichis 5 is another one's 2.
I went to a Coco in Osaka and the 5 i had was quite spicy and I like spicy food a lot. Now I'm glad I didn't order a higher number like I considered.
@@RocKM001the coco curry’s scale is literally a exponential scale 😂
how to get diarrhea on a bike trip
Yeah, eating that and then cycling 40 km doesn't sound fun. Eating a big meal before all the exercise is already bad enough
I can deal with spicy food, it's just i'll be sweating the whole way through.
I once received a box of retort-packed curry that had been made with the wrong amount of spices added at the factory from a worker there. At first I forced myself to eat it, but in the end I bought a mild curry and blended it with it.
I love spicy food, sometimes you can’t go by how spicy it’s suppose to be, Carolina reaper is pretty hot but it seems to only burn the back of my throat while chili peppers aren’t as hot but I consider them worse because they burn everything.
I like the part where Chris ordered the (super) diet meal by not noticing he had to confirm his order and the part where they didn't feed Paul (that very hot curry). Also, a thing to remember is that unlike parts of China and all of Korea, Japan doesn't really have a core spicy food culture. It's not British levels of not spicy, but Japan isn't known at all for having spicy food.
LV20 looks like nasi campur. Probably spicier. Heck since connor mixed it, it's literally nasi campur.
Macam nasi kandar
Kuah banjir!!!!!
Is it as spicy as Seremban sambal?

I am just glad these famous internet guys are friends, a brit guy, a welsh guy and a swedish guy biking and dining in japan.

@@hansmaus2169According to the Brits, yeah.
Farting is gonna b a pain in the arse for these 2 cyclist😂😂
It’s hard to believe but the spicy level for coco curry escalates very quickly after level 4. I usually stay at level 2 as a proud swede but I had friends from Thailand and China questioning their life choices at level 5 because it literally incinerates your tongue (and there is 5 more levels to go!)
I always predicted felix when he went to japan he'd meet up with these lot
Aunt no curry hotter than the red curry we get in Wales 😭😭😭
I completed 10 once, tried 15 and had a breakdown
Tbh japanese spiciness are pretty tame for my southeast asia palate.. I think I might able to take that haha
I wanna try it so bad now 😂
Get the skillet
Very Nice

When I moved to Thailand years ago, the company put me up in a hotel for a week whilst my apartment was being sorted. So one night I ordered a Thai curry on room service, they guy kept asking me something and I just said yeah, yeah rather than admit I wasn't too sure what he said.
So this curry arrived and I took one mouth full and disintegrated my mouth. After that I couldn't feel anything for the rest of curry. What I didn't know was the guy was asking about how much Chilli and I was saying yes to more and more chilli being added... lol
That first mouth full was insane I was literally running round the room as my mouth melted..... 😂
Unless you start getting hicups, it's no problem if you're used to spicy food.
I had a 10 felt normal maybe because I’m Indian idk , but yeah 20 would be crazy will try it tho
Since when do they serve lassi
Depends on the area I think but the menu is expanding a bit.
It’s crazy how pewds eat with the tongue out instead having it inside 🤯
me want a -9 pls . (sugar) pls... 😅😂❤
Maybe its just my Indonesian-ness but CoCo Ichibanya lvl 15 tastes like regular curry to me lol. But then again Chris, Connor and Felix are not SE Asian so they dont have that spice tolerance.
I've been reading comments about coco's level 5-10 being too spicy but I'm Mexican and we also use real chillies to spice up our food and I love Indian, Thai and Korean food (usually get a 9-10 level when I order some) makes me wonder how 'bad' 20 it is
Conor really is addicted to his phone. Holy.

Coco curry is my FAVORITE
Ice cubes in milk is just weird.
Thats actually Lassi not milk! Its normal to put ice cubes in lassi since its supposed to be a cold refreshing drink ❤️❤️❤️
@@xhhirssi5116 Oh, good to know. Thanks!
you can get lassi at a fucking coco curry??? wtf ahahahahah
Yeah, I had one myself there. It goes nicely with the spice of the curry.
