The one that gets played most is the Melbourne-Sydney rivalry, Melbourne thinking it's cultured and Sydney being pretentious. I assume the emo gag was what it was before that. *Adelaide:* I don't get the first joke, but the second gag about the water refers to how the water mains in the city keep on bursting (they're that fucking old!) and the water tastes like shit anyway. Crows references the local Aussie Rules football team - the Adelaide Crows - with the last one joking about the at-the-time serial-killer/murderer reputation the city had. *Gold Coast:* Don't get any of these. But the general reference to how hot it is is pretty accurate. *Sydney:* Where the Mardi-Gras parade is held, hence that reference. The second bit I don't understand, but the last jab about 'being better than everyone' is pretty damn accurate. *Canberra:* Long of the short - Canberra is known as the city of roundabouts... lots and lots of roundabouts. *Tasmania:* Tassie is a pretty decent horticultural state, so the first joke... but because it is not a part of the mainland, us 'mainlanders' like to make jokes about them being "mutants" if that makes sense. The two-heads one being a popular one.
