1000 miles in a promod ? I cant think of a single thing that could go wrong. Every single racing body has had to set some limits. D&D is more about the entire competition of a reliable as possible car thats fast on the track and making the 1000 mile trip. Its hard enough to keep them together as it is. But blowing thru nearly 80k or more worth of parts is a little rediculous even if you have it to spend. He's a great competitor and driver. If you have to rebuild the car like a top fuel dragster daily thats a bit much for anybody. 5 second times are possible. Tom bailey showed us that. But not every day. A lot of heavy hitters went to the trailer in pieces this year unfortunately. Next up sick summer and several events. They will be talking about these issues. Changes?
They planned on refreshing it on Friday but had some issues and had to do it early. Then tire shake threw the oil pump belt and they damaged the engine again. Had to pull out at that point
1) not a comparison, both cars are impressive. 2) both cars are faster than whatever you drive 3) what did your car run at this event? (Most likely weren’t there) 4) You’re only fast on the keyboard.
@@marshallduvall4251 day 3 poof. Left very disappointed because he couldn't run a 5 every pass, and went thru 90k worth of parts. Cleeters parking lot to Bradenton you can throw a rock and hit the track lol Like the old saying. I can't think of a single thing that could go wrong
He could have but .. he was 1 track away just decided it was not worth not sleeping at all just to finish .. he prefered to give up last day to be there at the track and have fun with people 🤷♂️
When they get that car to stay in the groove i bet it gets the record no problem
It is all over the place, eventually they will get it dialed in.
1000 miles in a promod? Sure why not. I can't think of a single thing that could go wrong lol. But Jeff can
Jeff was picking up his time slip by the time the other guy hit the traps.
🤣 yep
He's in a promod I hope he's faster than the red car 😂
Wow 😲 Lutz out of the groove! but stayed in it!?😮
hes used to that no prep stuff that gets sketchy ...that's a veteran for ya!
He did the same thing in his later run. Out of the groove and stayed in it.
Isn’t Jeff Lutz the guy who owns and crashed The 57?
Yes
But just couldn’t hang with that little 302 !
This time, I’m sure he will be back to try again.
right, that Mustang was sick
On a 275 radial 🤣🤣🤣
Maybe he’ll bring a small tire actual car next time
Oh and Ford stock block and crank supporting that 3,000+ hp! Ford has come along was since the first 302.

And Brett Lasala went 6.2 in a 2013 mustang GT with a factory block coyote on a 275 radial 🤷🏼♂️🤣
A full on pro mod going 6.1 is impressive???

Maybe if you didn’t make fun of every single person with an opinion you’d have more than 5k subscribers 🤷🏼♂️🤦♂️
Promod at a drag and explode event lol
Not everyone explodes but there is carnage
He drove it there !
The rules are as long as you drive the route you can run !

I think Lutz really wanted a 5.sec run that week .But the handling was off .Still fast car .It;s going to happen soon.
They definitely didn’t have it this week.
Old guys rule
👍👍
How do you drive that to the check points?
You follow the route, push the gas when you want to go, the brake when you want to stop and you turn where they tell you to.
PROMOD
He couldn’t hang with the Mustang this week.
But, did he finish sick week?
Did you? Easy to talk from the sidelines, run your car then you can run your mouth.

Who died?
What?
Flag half mast. It was the first thing I noticed.
