On last years Boston College team, they only had 19 players from the state of Massachusetts themselves, out of I assume around 120. So even they don't recruit a lot from their own state, lol. Having said that, I have always had a soft spot for Boston College ever since Doug Flutie threw the miracle pass against Miami! Rooting for Mizzou on Saturday of course, but other than that, I wish BC good luck this year!

Newson and Flagg should get the majority of snaps as a duo this week as linebackers. Our best two backers against a run heavy offense. We need physicality and good tackling. Not sure we should rotate Newson/hicks and Flagg/Jacob’s like we have been doing
A QB who was second or first in almost every QB rushing stat next to Jaden Daniels and a solid/strong offensive line? I’d say at least that part of their team is scary enough. I do have questions about their defense and we will see that play out this saturday.
I try to watch the games in a more analytical approach, but I get caught up in the fan watch as well. I want to see the deep ball! I want to see the explosive plays and the big hits. But boring football is good too. Winning comfortably while just marching down the field and racking up 6 ypp is a boring, great way for mezzo to continue winning
I’m a huge Missouri fan and ever since this years schedule came out last year I was worried about this game. If Missouri wins this game which they should, Missouri has an easy road to the playoffs. Could possibly go undefeated but will probably lose to Alabama in Alabama
They could put up a fight in the ACC I think. This ain't the ACC or a overrated Florida State. I wonder what's really harder, blow out a cupcake or get up for a ranked game? To go handle business when yea it's sold out but not prime time etc would be hard. Take Notre Dame AnM vs Northern Illinois for example. Bama USF tight one in 4th. Our guys embrace that STP 1-0 mindset and I look for a more impressive performance Saturday.

no way BC can match our depth and speed on both sides of the ball. will be close early but the big uglies rotating in and out without much loss on quality will make the difference. time for luther to have a breakout game. and they cannot double both him and theo who has emerged as a top ten talent as well.

I did watch the BC-FSU game. TC's last past attempt came with about 12 minutes left in the fourth quarter. I'm not saying he played badly, I'd just like to see some more obvious passing situations before I start making the Kyler comps.
Why do we care if Massachusetts got their feelings hurt? BC is a welcome warm up for the SEC. If can't beat them they are not going to have a good year anyway. I think they will take care of business on Saturday. Clean up the penalties and get the ball to Luther.
