Oh my gosh, such a fun video! Your kids' enthusiasm is contagious :) Fair food helps you remember why you cleaned up your food choices in the first place, like poor Ephraim's belly. Hope he felt better quickly!!
@mmshwartz I was going to say the same. Reminds me of the Minnesota State Fair. I grew up going 2-3 times every year. Then my kids got to grow up going. So many great memories with family and friends. We moved to Virginia and have only been there a few times since, when visiting other family. Sorry about the sentence structure. 💕🕊💕
Hi, Jeremy, ONE COMPLAINT with this video, it’s TOO SHORT, LOL 😂. When you all go on vacation or festivals, et cetera, I really like you all tasting everything and commenting on unhealthy foods. Keep going on your great channel!!!!!!!
Lol you make my heart so happy X I live in England now but we emigrated to Canada in 1966 from England and I returned to England in 1973 I went to school in Downsview primary Beverly heights junior high and Downsview secondary schools X but met my husband of 47yrs on a visit to the UK and been here since X I remember the CNE and we never missed getting a Bazooka bag hhhaaha X rides first then food halls what memories you've brought to my mind X thankyou and thanks for all the book recipe trials you've saved me a fortune thankyou ❤
Gum free in a bag lol all the kids got them in a paper sack free lolol never went home without one each 😂❤ I love your videos great feedback on your recipes and I am 8 yrs vegan at Christmas so absolutely brilliant content well done👍🌻🍁
This was fun! The ice cream cone looked so good. Ice cream has always been my favorite dessert. Now, I am hooked on my homemade daily nice cream. Some of the small towns in Rockland County, NY. have "street fairs"with live music and the restaurants and stores sell food and other goods outside. There are also carnivals in Rockland and Dutchess Counties. I've enjoyed kettle corn and fried pickles (yum!). Not too much for vegans to eat at these places. I like looking at all the stuff the vendors sell. The grandkids go on the kiddie rides and bouncy houses (so cute!). Thanks for sharing your fun day! 😀
Thank you very much, it's really fun to watch you! What a lovely family! I recently discovered your channel and I find your recipes inspiring too, I will try the granola bars soon. I'm wfpb for almost 7 years. Greetings from Berlin 👋🏾
@@pbwithjeremyToday I baked the granola bars, I didn't have enough maple syrup left and therefore I replaced part of it with a ripe banana. They turned out delicious!
Candy apples still remain one of my favorite fair foods. We used to go to the Ellijay apple festival in Ga. but haven't been since I went plant based 2 years ago.
That’s cool. It looks like a state fair in the US. The too biggest festivals here are the Florida State Fair and the Strawberry Festival. But there’s nothing healthy there it’s all fried things. Like the donut burger (burger but with a donut as a bun), fried Oreos, fried Twinkie’ etc. I never tried any of the specialty fried stuff. But at the strawberry festival, the strawberry shortcake is amazing, it’s not vegan but is vegetarian.
You guys are awesome, thanks for the trip to the CNE.. does your family attend the Toronto veg festival? Hope so , and maybe u could video it also. Thanks 👍
Do you mean Vegandale? We went last year and were a bit unimpressed. I think there's another Veg Fest next weekend, but sadly we're already booked up that weekend.

I've been drinking Clearly Canadian for years! I don't live in Canada but I'd like to at least visit sometime. That thing in the waffle cone looked amazing. Our county and state fairs are all starting but we have little to no vegan options really...very sad. Great video, love your family!
FOr what it's worth we shared most of it AND lots of movement and activities between that we didn't show all of - so it was spread out :) And LOTS of walking!
Fun video! Is the CNE in Toronto every year? My friend just went to the Minnesota State Fair 🎡 and said they had vegan options. Healthy, not really, but vegan! Yes, please, review the Vegan Italian restaurant! I hear Toronto has a great vegan food scene. It would be fun to get a glimpse. 😀
I LOVED Clearly Canadian when I was a teenager, I haven't had one in decades. I haven't seen them in stores, not sure if it's harder to find now just in Florida or the US in general.
10 dollars did u say for candy floss!! I must have heard wrong. The waffle taco thing looked nice maybe you could make it for us? The vegan sushi looked yum.14 dollars for a giant ice-cream is that an exhibition price point or the average Canadian price that is soooo experience. Canada seems to have a great offering of vegan/plant based food, well Toronto anyways. Rural Ireland is about ten years behind in vegan/plant based food offerings (Dublin/Cork/Galway maybe better). When I first came across your show I thought the PB in the title stood for peanut butter with Jeremy 😊 thanks for the show guys
No you heard right - $10. These are carnival prices - and they're a little insane. Toronto is expensive but not THAT expensive normally. We are lucky to have the offerings we do!
Boy, does this take me back!! I had to do some math ..... 66 years ago I was 8 and my paternal Gram & Gramp took me to the CNE. I don't remember what we ate but I do remember that I did feel kind of pukey. BUT I won a (real) blue budgie with a cage. Happy day for sure. btw what were the potatoes you all thought were so good? Great video.ty
That looks like a total blast! Sometimes we go to the California State Fair since it's in our city, and we always get Pink Popcorn which is basically a sweet brick of popcorn colored pink. My husband must have a churro even though we usually can't find a vegan one. Every year there are more and more vegan options, though not as many as I see you have there in Toronto
@@pbwithjeremy there are so many yummy things (quinoa onion rings) but squash tacos are my fave! I always struggle between trying something new or going for those haha. How about you and your fam??
Wait, is your wife plant-based/vegan now (I recall you saying she was vegetarian when you met her)? There was reference to her not being able to eat the spring roll... and I'm guessing that's not because of gluten.
Love your channel. Love your content. Love your family. Maybe let them finish their mouthful, before asking them to speak? I know you have said you don't "police your kids"....... but mouths full of food while speaking can turn people off. Sorry. Again, I love this channel and all you're doing....... except that. 😘
Thank you for this. We are getting better, it's more I have to find a balance between seeing their instant reaction - which is sometimes the gold in our videos :) But we do try to get everyone to finish swallowing before talking in any detail. Appreciate this!
This video really disappointed me. I was sure that time I made my falafel in a waffle iron that I'd come up with something none of the billions of people on this planet had ever thought of before.`Corndogs have always been my favorite fair food. I don't tend to seek out vegan versions of them though--I have a weird pet peeve about vegan food trying to imitate animal food. Falafel gives me the things I like in a corndog without trying to pretend to be something it isn't. I've still never come up with a pizza replacement that fully satisfies. I've no interest in vegan cheese, but want some kind of topping over a sauce that browns a little without pretending to be gooey cheese. I tried a falafel mix once, but it didn't quite get there, but I wonder if maybe I just couldn't figure out how to make it work.
I want to play with a falafel cone myself - I think it's really just the consistency of the battery and getting that right. We eat fairly little faux-meats - my wife and daughter don't care for it at all - every now and then for myself, but I don't really get anything from it other than a small flavour burst for the moment, but I'm generally happy with our WFPB food. Keep at your recipe - you'll figure it out!
Oh my gosh I’ve got to learn how to make the falafel waffle so if you figure it out, please do a video on it! Loved your video! 💕
Will do!!
