- SLAM: Simultaneous Localization and Mapping
This video demonstrates a class project where we programmed a robot using SLAM to navigate an unknown environment, create a map, locate triangles and shoot it with a laser.
NICE WORK IBRAHIM I WISH YOU A GOOD LUCK
Thanks, nice video!
Such a good video. Ive watched it atleast 10 times but it's always impressive
This seems to be a relatively simple SLAM system. If the robot used an RGBD camera, it could generate a 3D model of its environment.
How exactly? Can you please provide some links regarding this?
@@mehuljain7267 I've seen some demos of RGBD-SLAM using Kinect cameras, like this one from a few years ago: th-cam.com/video/AMLwjo80WzI/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=introlab
Splendid work! Is it ROS that you're working on? And how do you send the start and the goal points to the robot? Would appreciate if you could reply. thanks!

Nice , I also tryed to installed ROS .But experience lot of problem.
which hardware are you using???...like which controller & alll???
Hello sir, I have a doubt about map building. I have a dataset which contain range and bearing angle for landmarks in different timestamp. Now the robot observe same landmarks several time whennever it move or turn. From this data set how could I find out original location of the landmarks?
Hi I hope you are doing great, I just wanted to tell you that I need your help on more informations about this cleaner robot it's my PFE theme it would be a honner you help me
Hi! we are working on a similar project. Does the wheel in front of the SLAM has a motor? How do you arrange the movement and the 180 degree turns? Does the center of the robot drifts in the turns?
Hi! I am working in a similar project, any chance to have access to your paper?
Good intro
nice work, how can I communicate with you ?
Most of the comments are from robotics pasionats 😀
What software are using to display the scene?

Lidar is just better!
hi @Ibrahim Musba, can I get in contact with you for a similar project?
hi bro , are you still working on similar kind of project?
Thanks, nice video!
