We have this train set: www.theconfusedmillennial.com/miqk And I suggest getting a battery car (we have this one bit.ly/3Yi5O9S ) you don't have to give it to them right away, but once the "newness" of the trainset wears off, it can make it more fun, and they can get into other play around the set, while the train "goes" we held off like 2 years before adding it in though and wish i would've after 6-12 months!
