Putting aside the 29niner breakthrough, lessons learnt from this episode are that the new recruits are fast, Minnar is super cool, Peaty remains a top bloke even without racing, and in a great moment of distress for the kiwis - Marshy looks better and appears more comfortable in a dress !
Lourdes was an anomaly. We won't see a race as weather affected as that for a long time. If there's any track suited to 29ers, it's Fort Bill. It could snow, it could rain, it could be 25°C.
shame they were robbed at the end by the weather, the other teams have got their act together and made up 29" after the great display in qualifying you guys put on. So happy the Syndicate is back though. come on boys!
Yes, Ratboy and The Legend are gone. I love Ratboy, a kickass teammate! But I never could understand one word, NOT ONE! Word that boy said. A Bunch of gibberish to me… This team is just like Dr. WHO! You got a new Tardis (V10 29er), new companions in Lucas and Loris along Minnaar (The Doctor). So far I really like the new team, it’s fresh and you can just feel the positive vibe this team has going forward. Can’t wait! Total BS on the weather, but nothing you do about that, its fate! Next time boys, a podium sweep, better get used to it, it’s going to happen often this year.
More of an effort to make these videos funny I imagine now the Northern Boys Peaty and Rat have left the race with such personalitys, will never have that watchability that the 2 down to earth, funny Northern blokes create just with their love for bikes, humour and friendship. Loved watching their antic as much as the race cant beat Peaty and Rat fucking about on a bike vid.
Adz He is not part of the syndicate this year, he is still part of Santa Cruz still racing but not doing any work cups. I suppise he wants to clear his head this season and train super hard and come back even stronger next year and win
OOOO amazing how 29 ers feel,now you the slow mtb world just has to increase the width to 4"!!! Fat bikes have had this diameter for years which is one of the reasons they roll so easy but still all the hate and ridicule for fat bikes,I have more grip,more comfort and more speed than any one on a 27.5 or less,uphill or down,fact.
in my experience, once you start going down a hill at 30km/h the tires just don't off the support of a 2.4 inch tire and they ping off roots at high speed. but for casual or intermediate trail riding they are amazing (the 4 inch tires i never liked the 5 inch)
You may be right,Im not a pro dh racer but for the weekend warrior they offer a level of grip and support that the pros have through skill,Ive never hadf a puncture of flat on a fat bike in 2 years,never

V10s are by far the best looking DH bikes in my opinion
