Please help me. RTX 4060 is idling at 52w for me and many other users. There seems to be no fix released till now. Please help me. What is causing this issue? Please help me. Can you confirm the issue?
I went with rtx 4060 laptop which performs same as desktop version.. We can get 3070ti 150tdp with same price but it was roughly 10-15% faster in raw performance so it makes much sense to go with rtx 4060 for new updates and FG... and for other 3060 laptop gpus they come with 6gb vram ..

Rtx 4060 is ridiculously a very bad card.....Sure u can see a minor gains in 1080p but if u switch to 1440p that 128 bit bus and 8 pcie lanes insted of 16 cripples the performance so much that it sometimes loses to previous 3060 in some games and also vram is cut down from 12gb to 8gb(frame gen uses 1-1.5gb extra if u turn on) which will not be enough for raytraced and demanding games like Hogwarts legacy, Re4 remake.
Better get 6700xt for the same price and thank me later👍.

Also before applying frame gen you need to have constant 60fps in the game and it also does increase your input latency quite significantly 😂 L new frame gen technology
RTX 3060 i bought at 27500, that is value for money if 10-15% down performance. But if you notice RTX 3060 comes with 12gb VRAM vs 4060 comes with only 8gb. 4060 could be killer if it comes with 12gb because lack of VRAM it did not out performed 3060. For 10-15 FPS increase , paying 3k to 4k makes no sense. There is no doubt 4th gen series is way better in performance but if minimum requirement is 12 gb if you play on high settings
It completely outperformed the rtx 3060. And with dlss 3 and frame gen it can more than double the fps. So 3060 is no match

Don't only see the fps of the games. You also have to think for the future. Today the 8gigs of vram may be sufficient but in near future games will consume much more vram and rtx 3060 will beat the 4060 in that matter. If you up the resolution of any game you can see a difference due to vram

But RTX 3060 can be had for about 25,000 now, whereas RTX 4060 starts at 30,000. Moreover, you only checked the benchmarks for games, but in productivity use cases like video editing in Premiere Pro, or video composition in After Effects, 3060 may have an edge just because of increased VRAM (12 instead of 8) and higher memory bus (192-bit instead of 128-bit). Can you also do productivity benchmarks (that also fills up the VRAM) so these limitations can also be tested?

@@Vanyajeevi I actually buy GTX 1650 Super in 2020 and 2023 it's dead. Because of GPU getting shot. My PC had some earthing problem and i didn't notice. GPU Company was MSI. Is MSI company GPU is bad ? Because 1650S only last for 3 years.

4060 way better, dont buy amd its old and garbage. No av1 encoding in amd and many things.
With a 400w power supply, you can never get enough performance with rtx cards. As rtx cards are upper mid-high ranged cards, so if you hit a very intensive area in game, the power consumption will go very high and your pc will get crashed due to lack of power. So better go for gtx 1660 super or rtx 3050 witha little stretch but don't go above it if you don't want to change your 400w psu. The gtx 1660 super still provides good gaming experience and the rtx 3050 is even better they can cop up with your 400w psu. I would suggest you to buy atleast a 550w psu for higher higher rtx cards or amd cards

Yeah even those are latest gen the cores are fewer so when using those cores will perform the same as last gen "3060" card on 4060 even lower not sure about it but it will not perfome more than last gen the only new thing they are giving in this gen, the only new thing is frame gen which everyone will be getting through fsr 3.1 so the better option will be a 3060ti or 3060 12gb in my opinion. Nvidia is saying frame gen needs new hardware to do so but both last and new gen got the same hardwares and cores just the calculation type is different due to new architecture
