Thanks man ! After doing factory reset I get to welcome screen like seen on your video START etc.. is is safe to assume that i have removed all protections as I need to send my phone for trade in to Samsung ? I also went though setup but did not enter any accounts info anywhere basically used SKIP for everything and that got to main screen. So I would think phone is usable as it did not ask me to confirm my old credentials during new set up but simply asked for new, where i just said SKIP
Quick tip if you plan to sell it REMOVE ALL YOU ACCOUNTS so you don’t screw over the next owner

I have same question. 7 years ago I traded in a Casio Rugged phone and 6months go by and I got a security message from Google saying my old Casio phone was turned on and my Google acct was trying to be logged into and it dropped a GPS pin where they were attempting this hack. It was on the Navajo Indian reservation in AZ ever since that incident I've been scared to trade
