KOSmusic i have a question, can you reproduce the same song variation of miami supercops specially the song played during the 2 bus robbery? It’s same of main theme, but a variation slowed and with different refrain.
Kosmusic, i'm a synth brother. And i grew up with Terence Hill & Bud Spencer. I actually did a cover on this theme on the C64 a long time ago. (But never released). I love this new exiting times we're living in that people with talent (like you) are able to show their talents to the world. I have a future wish/request: The theme from Odds or Evens (Brotherly Love). Good luck with recreating that crazy lfo'ed distorted dolphin lead (that is if you want to do it) 😉😘 but it sounds friggin awesome!

Why did I discover this just now??? I've watched every Bud Spencer & Terence Hill movie like 5 times and especially Miami Supercops. This cover sounds just like the original just with higher audio quality! The best part of the song for me are the fast 32 notes (I think) in the "chorus" lead melody, if you know what I mean, and you've absolutely nailed it! You've also got a great ear for sounds. Just like in all your other vids you just recreated these sounds with so much detail and attention to the original! Even if they are not THAT exact to the original, it's extremely hard to get it correct and you are soooo close to the original! Fascinating, you have to teach me one day ;)

KOSmusic I think they together with Sergio Leone are the prime entertainment exports from Italy. I too grew up with these two hilarious guys. Here in the Netherlands it was sort of standard to have a kids birthday party and play a Bud Spencer and Terrence Hill movie.

KOSmusic I guess this duo was a staple for every 80s tween across Europe and US. And Spaghetti Westerns are the best. I love the grit of the characters and their grey-area. They aren’t just good or bad like in the Hollywood westerns. Take Goldie in The Good The Bad and the Ugly. He too is a criminal and borderline selfish. That movie,is definitely in my top 5 of best movies ever. And then them soundtrack by Ennio Morricone ohhh man, spine tinglingly beautiful.

YEAH... it is just the CS1x and in this track I mainly used it for: pads, brass, guitar and organ. For all the other sounds, I used the VSTs Dexed and Korg Mono/Poly :) The CS1x is a very versatile synth, I always use it in my covers and it was also very useful for the mythical sound of the clavi in my extended version of "Sirius". Those sounds and music is hardwired in my brain as it was what I listened when I was a child, so listening to them and see that is "no magic" to reproduce it back again give me a lot of joy. I played piano for a lot of years but dropped it, and came back months ago with a MIDI controller and making my own covers. I'm learning a lot just by observing (listening) and paying attention to what you do (and the originals), and nothing better to learn from best masters. @@KOSmusicovers credimi, da super appassionato di Bud & Terence, ho passato mesi a cercare prima in mp3 su qualche oscuro sito bielorusso dove si trova di tutto e poi su youtube, una versione col sound accettabile da mettere la mattina sull'autoradio quando vado a lavoro, volevo anche scrivere ai La Bionda per sapere se almeno loro ce l'hanno! con la tua versione ho risolto il problema! e comunque si vede che dietro ci sono un lavoro e una passione immani, non si arriva a fare cover stilisticamente perfette (un'altra tua cover in-cre-di-bi-le che ho sentito è quella di Beverly Hills Cop) in due giorni! Io l'unica cosa che sono riuscito a imparare a suonare con la chitarra, di questo pezzo, è proprio la parte che somiglia a una chitarra elettrica iper-distorta (che poi alla fine è quella più semplice perche sono solo accordi); ad ogni modo scusa se mi ripeto, ma la tua esecuzione è magistrale sotto tutti i punti di vista!

That song has always been in my head and a lot of people have been requesting for the original one but never happened. KOSmusic i have a question, can you reproduce the same song variation of miami supercops specially the song played during the 2 bus robbery? It’s same of main theme, but a variation slowed and with different refrain.
Kosmusic, i'm a synth brother. And i grew up with Terence Hill & Bud Spencer. I actually did a cover on this theme on the C64 a long time ago. (But never released). I love this new exiting times we're living in that people with talent (like you) are able to show their talents to the world. I have a future wish/request: The theme from Odds or Evens (Brotherly Love). Good luck with recreating that crazy lfo'ed distorted dolphin lead (that is if you want to do it) 😉😘 but it sounds friggin awesome!

Why did I discover this just now??? I've watched every Bud Spencer & Terence Hill movie like 5 times and especially Miami Supercops. This cover sounds just like the original just with higher audio quality! The best part of the song for me are the fast 32 notes (I think) in the "chorus" lead melody, if you know what I mean, and you've absolutely nailed it! You've also got a great ear for sounds. Just like in all your other vids you just recreated these sounds with so much detail and attention to the original! Even if they are not THAT exact to the original, it's extremely hard to get it correct and you are soooo close to the original! Fascinating, you have to teach me one day ;)

KOSmusic I think they together with Sergio Leone are the prime entertainment exports from Italy. I too grew up with these two hilarious guys. Here in the Netherlands it was sort of standard to have a kids birthday party and play a Bud Spencer and Terrence Hill movie.

And Spaghetti Westerns are the best. I love the grit of the characters and their grey-area. They aren’t just good or bad like in the Hollywood westerns. Take Goldie in The Good The Bad and the Ugly. He too is a criminal and borderline selfish. That movie,is definitely in my top 5 of best movies ever. And then them soundtrack by Ennio Morricone ohhh man, spine tinglingly beautiful.

Fantastic, love it, bravissimo! Is that a Yamaha CS1x what you're playing? How did you found all those patches that sound so close (if not equal) to the original ones? Did you program it for yourself?
THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH, XEEZA!!!!!!! I'm really happy that you liked my tribute to this classic!!!! YEAH... it is just the CS1x and in this track I mainly used it for: pads, brass, guitar and organ. For all the other sounds, I used the VSTs Dexed and Korg Mono/Poly :) The CS1x is a very versatile synth, I always use it in my covers and it was also very useful for the mythical sound of the clavi in my extended version of "Sirius". Thanks again for writing to me :) :) :)
@@KOSmusicovers wow KOS, thank you A LOT for your feedback, I'm impressed nowadays someone even answers to comments because with such popularity it must be a full-time job! Those sounds and music is hardwired in my brain as it was what I listened when I was a child, so listening to them and see that is "no magic" to reproduce it back again give me a lot of joy. I played piano for a lot of years but dropped it, and came back months ago with a MIDI controller and making my own covers. I'm learning a lot just by observing (listening) and paying attention to what you do (and the originals), and nothing better to learn from best masters.

@@KOSmusicovers credimi, da super appassionato di Bud & Terence, ho passato mesi a cercare prima in mp3 su qualche oscuro sito bielorusso dove si trova di tutto e poi su youtube, una versione col sound accettabile da mettere la mattina sull'autoradio quando vado a lavoro, volevo anche scrivere ai La Bionda per sapere se almeno loro ce l'hanno! con la tua versione ho risolto il problema! e comunque si vede che dietro ci sono un lavoro e una passione immani, non si arriva a fare cover stilisticamente perfette (un'altra tua cover in-cre-di-bi-le che ho sentito è quella di Beverly Hills Cop) in due giorni! Io l'unica cosa che sono riuscito a imparare a suonare con la chitarra, di questo pezzo, è proprio la parte che somiglia a una chitarra elettrica iper-distorta (che poi alla fine è quella più semplice perche sono solo accordi); ad ogni modo scusa se mi ripeto, ma la tua esecuzione è magistrale sotto tutti i punti di vista!

In effetti, passo molti giorni ad ascoltare e scomporre nella mia mente la traccia originale, per capire come posso ricreare tutti i suoni dei vari strumenti e i loro effetti. Devo dire che è la parte che mi diverte di più quando faccio una cover e anche se certe volte è molto difficile portare a termine un progetto (per esempio, il video della Crockett's Theme, ci sono voluti circa 4 mesi per farlo), è una grande soddisfazione riuscire a riprendere almeno in parte, l'atmosfera dell'originale. Ciao Kos! As a big fan of all movies from Bud Spencer and Terence Hill, do you remember in the movie "Banana Joe" the song "Corsa de Camion" when they are racing the trucks... That song has always been in my head and a lot of people have been requesting for the original one but never happened. I just thought you might one day get your own cover of it and it will be fantastic as everything you produce. Ciao amigo!
Oh yes... I remember that scene very well with that fantastic music also because I grew up with all the Bud Spencer and Terence Hill movies!!!! Bravo... e poi volevo chiederti, se ascolti bene nella colonna originale dopo circa 5-7 secondi si sente una cadenza dal tono verso “ il basso “ come se cambiasse di pochissimo tonalità scendendo di molto poco di grado e dura per poco… come mai? Sei davvero attento ai particolari e hai perfettamente ragione. C'è un leggero calo d'intonazione/tempo e secondo la mia opinione, potrebbe essere dovuto a chi ha effettuato il montaggio video/audio che, per stare dentro ai tempi della sigla e per non far rifare una nuova versione ai La Bionda, abbia rallentato la traccia.
