It is one of the most special and rewarding comments I have ever received!!!!!! You don't know how happy it makes me to know that you noticed these details that I recreated for this introduction!!! I have always been fascinated by the graphics of films/TV series of the past and it has always been a dream of mine to be able to recreate them!! THANK YOU OF HEART MY FRIEND, FOR YOUR MAGNIFICENT WORDS!!!! They really mean a lot to me :) :) :)

@Crusader THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH, CRUSADER... I'm so happy to know this!!!! I recreated this font from scratch (letter by letter), based on the original in the movie. It happens to me many times to recreate from scratch the fonts of the openings of the movies to obtain a more authentic similarity (as an example in my covers of: Halloween of 1978, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and many others).
WOOWWW!!!!!!!! It is really a great satisfaction to read your comment and I am really happy that you enjoyed my work!!! THANKS A LOT MATE, FOR THIS!!!!! :) :) :)
Only thing missing is the samples of the flight deck loudspeaker and the jet engines which is understandable. But the fact your ear is cued to expect them is testament to how good this cover is. From a fan of Top Gun who watches the film far too much for his wife's liking, this is brilliant.
WOOOWWWW!!!!! I'm really happy that my version of this Harold Faltermeyer masterpiece gave you these beautiful sensations and that you enjoyed it... I have always loved this classic 80s movie!!!! Thanks again for your fantastic comment :) :) :)
This recreation is impeccable. The title theme sounds so much better without the guitar. It allows you to really admire the synth music. I am a huge ‘80s movie nerd, but believe it or not, I have never watched Top Gun in it’s entirety. I really need to see it.
THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH, MAN!!!!!! I'm really happy that you enjoyed my tribute to this wonderful 80s movie!!! Yeah... me too, I've always enjoyed the music from the opening credits because you can hear the fantatsic work Harold Faltermeyer has done with synths!! Oh yes, it also happened to me that I only saw a few pieces of some classic movies and for one reason or another I was never able to watch them from start to finish :D
The cover is beautiful but you’re crazy if you think the guitar ruins anything. That’s like saying jet noises ruin things. All the best music or music transitions incorporate some ebb and flow, contrast, and or crescendo or climax.
I am a guitar player and even I agree with your statement!...right up until that ending here it comes in perfectly but should only be played for a bit...
My god man! This is so spot on that my subconcious mind automatically mixes in the sounds of howling turbofan engines and the bustle of a flight deck crew prepping the cats at sunrise... MAGNIFICENT!
You beat me to that post. I was thinking the same thing. I was expecting the radio chatter of the flight deck to kick in towards the end. This was flawless and on point.
Spot on. I remember not being able to find the intro on the album. Live mike taped it from a VHS tape of the movie to a cassette deck. All so I could play it on a waterproof Sony Walkman. Did a 30 minute long loop. Awesome workout and whitewater kayaking tape. Flip side was this alternating with Seven Bridges Road by the Eagles. Made me happy 😁!
I agree with your opening statement. The opening sequence to Top Gun is one of best ever. I have always loved this theme and our buddy Harold. I can't wait to see the second Top Gun movie. I think you are very talented an creative. More music please.
REALLY FABULOUS, HARVY!!!!!! From the first time I saw this movie I was immediately fascinated, thanks also to the incredible work of Harold Faltermeyer with his fantastic music!! WOOWWWW... You are very kind and I'm so glad you appreciate my work!!!! Thanks again for everything, man :) :) :)
Excellent job. One of my all time favorite movies. I grew up watching this movie as a kid as soon as it came out on VHS. It also inspired me to join the Navy and I was an aircraft maintainer on Tomcats in VF-154 the Black Knights.
THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH, WILLIAM :) :) :) WOOWWWW... it's really fantastic to know that this classic inspired you to make your childhood dream come true!!!
It drove me nuts that this opening music was not even on the CD or even the later released SACD, the main reason I bought it, for just those few minutes of musical bliss.
You are definitely right!!! This theme is amazing and so full of emotions... what a GREAT composer is Harold Faltermeyer!!! Me too, it happened many times to buy the original soundtrack of a movie and not find the music for which I bought it :( (for example the particular version of "Green Onions" featured in the movie Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story, was never released).
Wholeheartedly agree. I sometimes just watch the opening credits of the film just to hear this beautiful, stirring, poetic piece of godlike music. One of the best movie intros of all time.
It's on a score that the academy members receive to judge the music. Other tracks on that disc are called 'flat spin' and 'who' a side are you on'. If you find the disc with those tracks it is the full score, I believe. In the soundtrack thos track is similar to the top gun anthem which is the guitar version (3m 45s). But this version being played here is called the opening theme on that disc (2m 43s) and has no guitar on it.
My dear friend, I recently watched Top Gun Maverick at theatre and once the movie began with that wonderful opening music, it reminded me of your cover. It was time to come back here and rewatch this video. You have done an incredible job.
WOOWWWWW!!!!! It is an enormous joy to know that it made you think about my video!!!! Thank you very very much my dear friend, for your always kind words that put a big smile on my face... I send you a big hello :) :) :)
I just saw it again and while it’s a brilliant movie in its own right I think the best part was the soundtrack. I’ve had the “heartbeat drums and bell” stuck in my head and this is where I came to hear it once again.
Having seen the new Top Gun film, and having Arturia's V Collection for many years, I did a TH-cam search which led me here. This is absolutely amazing. Thank you for you work and for posting, and my next few evenings are going to be a nostalgic trip down memory lane on my synths. Thank you.
WOOWWWW... I'm very pleased to know all this and that you enjoyed my tribute to this unforgettable classic!!! Oh yes, Arturia's virtual synths are really fantastic... me too, I have some!! For some synth sounds of this track, I had used the free DX7 emulator (Dexed). Thanks again David, for your amazing comment :) :) :)
I swear to god, I had the movie automatically playing in my head listening to this. Watching the prowlers and tomcats get ready for launch. I even heard the blast deflector coming up towards the end. Spot on, my man!
MEGA WOOWWWW, MY FRIEND!!!!!!!! It is really fantastic to know this!!! I love when my covers manage to convey these emotions!!! This movie has always been one of my all time favorites!!!! THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR AWESOME COMMENT, ZOE :) :) :)
WOOWWW!!!!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH, MY FRIEND!!!! It makes me really honored to read your comment!!! I'm glad you enjoyed my version!!! Thanks again for these beautiful words :) :) :)
Perfect comment!!! GREAT MY FRIEND!!!!! The introduction of this movie is PURE ART!!!! I always considered music as important as the cast and the plot!! If the music does not support the movie/TV series/anime, the video will also lose importance!!!
Always wanted an album of Faltermeyer's actual score, not that "Anthem" version with all the Pop songs. I was at the sneak preview at Grauman's Chinese theater, and when the lights dimmed, the curtains parted, and this music started playing... Well. A whole lot of us just went "Oooooh!" Thank you for doing this, KOS!
SUPER WOOOWWWW, MY FRIEND!!!!!! It must have been a truly unique experience to have been able to see and listen to it in that MAGNIFICENT theater!!! It's a really fantastic movie with this one-of-a-kind feature introduction thanks to Harold Faltermeyer's music too, and it's a shame they never officially released the original score :( I'm really glad you enjoyed my version and I hope one day, to be able to recreate other tracks and even the legendary "Danger Zone"!! THANK YOU OF HEART CHRIS, FOR YOUR AWESOME COMMENT :) :) :)
Absolutely gives me shivers down the spine - one of the greatest bits of intro music to a film ever and what a phenomenally accurate cover. Up there with your Airwolf and Knight Rider versions. The way you also recreate the typography of the film or TV series is wonderful attention to detail. At the age of 50, I’m taking up music - subbing to your channel for inspiration!
MY FRIEND... IT'S A REALLY MAGNIFICENT COMMENT!!! You are right!! A million miles away from all the other cheesy copies on TH-cam. I also agree that the music is beautiful. Harold Faltermeyer is under appreciated. It sounds way better without the lead guitar too.

Man, This is the best Top Gun Anthem or Top Gun related cover on TH-cam. Gotta give you credits for the effects(even on your other covers), can't imagine the effort it took to replicate it ala Top Gun. Great choice of sounds and excellent arrangement. Cheers!
This theme is the reason I joined the Air Force 23 years ago. Imagine my surprise when I realized the Top Gun pilots were Navy lol--Top Gun came out when I was a kid and I truly thought the Air Force owned all the planes, Navy had all the ships, etc. But hey, the theme represents epic fighter jet flying in any branch and the skill and bravery it takes to be so daring. This is the most epic cover I've ever heard.

I agree! I was up early listening to this piece over and over, with tears of joy of determination and certainty of that i can have what i dream! And then i am so proud to have descovered your lovely cover! I wrote a song incorperating this progression and I don't have a jupiter 8 but a prophet 10 rev 4 and i created a patch so emotive so gliding, with the power of the jet of the top gun art of flight! Onward and upward, never give up and let it be easy, easier and easier. Effort is not a factor, its all in alignment with the heart, its already done, its done completely in the heart.

34 years later, and that intro still gives me chills! A spot on perfect tribute! This movie and my first trip in an airplane (cross-country, overnight from Philly to L.A.) shortly thereafter, sparked my first true love; that of aircraft and flying. I spent the rest of my youth dreaming incessantly of being a fighter pilot. I like to think that in another timeline lives a version of me that made it. :(

As a kid I remember going to the movies and loving some movie soundtracks. They elevated movies to another level for me. Sad we have lost that somehow.
I've always thought the same thing... a movie (or even TV series) can be fantastic, but without a perfectly matched soundtrack it can only give half of its potential. Only when you have wonderful movie and superb soundtrack you get 100%!!! Today they don't even reach 2% in either of these two things... they no longer have that passion, mentality, imagination and talent to create things like those of the past :/
When ever i look for Topgun theme there's always that guitar... I love this version sounds clean. I hope you do the full topgun anthem without the guitar.
WOOOWWWW!!!!!!! I'm really glad you liked it!!!! It's the same thing I noticed too!! Every time I looked for the track to recreate this cover, I found only the one with the guitar. In the end, I took inspiration directly from the introduction of the original movie here on TH-cam: th-cam.com/video/bNxvXj9nff4/w-d-xo.html&t I've always loved the version without guitar too because you can feel all the beauty of Harold Faltermeyer's synths!! Not that I also mind the version with the guitar (Anthem) only that I do not yet have a guitar with the tremolo (essential to play this track). You gave me a good idea though... in the future I will try to make the complete Anthem version with and without guitar so each instrument will have its importance in the respective track! And thus the heavens parted and a bald eagle carrying the seeds of liberty descended on the land to commence a strafing run. It’s mission, to overseed the lawn of freedom grown from this fertile and blessed soil. A purer expression of freedom has never befallen the eyes of man and surely this soundtrack accompanied the mighty bird on it’s heroic journey to restore the integrity of the red, white, and blue. God bless America, and God bless your mighty synth skills.

Its criminal. The entire score deserves release.
The 80s had just the best movie and TV show music, period. This channel has proved it to me.
As a 90s kid - I agree!
@@KOSmusicovers hi mate how did u do the beginning
When I saw the new movie in the theatre it gave me chills. Instant 80s nostalgia.
Honestly I think top gun one’s music is better it’s the original always
Is it just me, or did you guys hear the F-14's P&W TF-30 engine whistling from the start till the end of the cover ?
it's also a wind instrument.
Thanks again David, for your amazing comment :) :) :)
you can't say you don't get goosebumps with this song
100 percent my friend
Top gun is one of my all time favorite movies the opening gives me chills every time. Well done!!!
OH YEAH!!!!! These are the same emotions that it gives me too!!! Thank you very very much, Cole :) :) :)
I just cannot get over how good this sounds. This is the most accurate sounding thing ever! Absolutely fantastic work mate!
WOOWWW!!!!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH, MY FRIEND!!!! It makes me really honored to read your comment!!! I'm glad you enjoyed my version!!! Thanks again for these beautiful words :) :) :)
this tune is the proof that every kind of movie opening, no matter how simple or dull, can be raised to epicness
Well. A whole lot of us just went "Oooooh!"
Thank you for doing this, KOS!
I was always fascinated by the introduction of this film with those orange tones, the sounds of the F-14 engines and the aircraft carrier with that fantastic music by Harold Faltermeyer that fills the scene... FANTASTIC!!! I am really impressed by your INCREDIBLE compliments on my works and I am very honored to be able to inspire other fan of music!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, DAVE :) :) :) GREAT!!! I'm glad to know that you are a musician too!!!
The detail is quite amazing isn't it.....
This! Exactly This.
You must have really enjoyed the intro for Top Gun Maverick right?
I am literally in tears. Thank you
I HAVE NO WORDS!!! It is truly incredible to know that my cover has given you this feeling!!! Thanks to you, for writing me this wonderful comment :) :) :)
The theme reflected the calmness of the sea, as a seafarer for ten years, this music is amazing for ship life, the best for Top Gun aircraft carrier scenes
My god , just heard your airwolf and knightrider covers automatically transported back to my youth , and this one is just awesome , thank you for sharing your talent , really really appreciate it 👍
I HAVE NO WORDS!!!!!!! I am really happy to know that you liked my covers and they brought you back to the good times!!! Furthermore, it fills me with joy to know that you appreciate my passion!!! THANK YOU OF HEART MY FRIEND, FOR YOUR AWESOME COMMENT :) :) :)
I second that sentiment.
I know, goosebumps!
Same here 👍👍👍👍👍👍🙀🙀🙀 goose bumps
Wow true 80s spirit, congrats!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS COMMENT!!! :) :) :)
Even the slightly jiggling credits....brilliant.
Great eye, mate!!! I have always loved the titles and logos of the movies of the past!!! I'm really glad you liked it!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, JOHN :) :) :)
Exceptional re-creation of one of the best movie intros ever! Really like the opening titles & film shake - very authentic. It's those little touches that make a big difference!
FABULOUS!!!!! I'm very happy that you too are a big fan of this movie and it is a great satisfaction that you appreciated my graphic work on this video!!!! I have a lot of fun recreating these fantastic animations of these MASTERPIECES of the past!!!! THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR AWESOME COMMENTS, MY FRIEND!!!!! They mean a lot to me :) :) :)
Utterly outstanding.
WOOWWW!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, MATE :) :) :)
I think we're on the same musical wavelength :) I was thinking of doing this next, but there's absolutely no point now. This is perfection..... really its absolutely perfect. A million miles away from all the other cheesy copies on TH-cam.
I also agree that the music is beautiful. Harold Faltermeyer is under appreciated. It sounds way better without the lead guitar too.
SUPER WOOWWW, MY DEAR FRIEND!!!! You really left me speechless!! Receiving these compliments from a musician like you, fills me with pride!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!!!!! I would love to hear your version because you are really good and I really liked your covers of Knight Rider and Airwolf, moreover you play very well (I heard the Jurassic Park song that you played and I got goosebumps... FABULOUS... and it's one of my favorite movies/sound tracks ever). Yeah, I'd like to do other tracks of Harold Faltermeyer (especially Beverly Hills Cop 1&2). I wish you a good weekend rich of music and thanks again for your MAGNIFICENT comment :) :) :)
You are a legend Kosmusic💥🙌🙌🙌
OH MAN, YOU ARE SO KIND!!!!! It is a real joy that you liked this video!!! I have always loved this movie and Harold Faltermeyer's incredible score (he has always been one of my favorite composers and also inspires me for my original music). Thank you again for your special words and I wish you all the best in life, for your FANTASTIC channel and lots of good music :) :) :)
and the glitchy credts!! damn bro
GREAT... I'm really happy you noticed that detail!!!
You, Sir, have made me go back to my teen years...thank you for this great feeling.
0:39 even the welcoming paragraph texts remind me of one from the movie that explained about what TopGun is. Excellent music and awesome cinematography.
Only true fans of this movie appreciate this detail that I added!!! Thanks again for your AWESOME compliments, Mula :) :) :)
@@KOSmusicovers the pleasure is mine, my friend. You and your brilliant talent are wonderful, especially during this time. Good ol' 80s.
Man, This is the best Top Gun Anthem or Top Gun related cover on TH-cam. Gotta give you credits for the effects(even on your other covers), can't imagine the effort it took to replicate it ala Top Gun. Great choice of sounds and excellent arrangement. Cheers!
WOW!!! I have no words for all the compliments you gave me, THANK YOU OF HEART, MY FRIEND!!! :) :) :)
Do the Miami Vice music too.
Yeah, you're really accurate on your covers, I would love to see Crockett's Theme
Oh yeah, that’s would be so cool
This theme is the reason I joined the Air Force 23 years ago. Imagine my surprise when I realized the Top Gun pilots were Navy lol--Top Gun came out when I was a kid and I truly thought the Air Force owned all the planes, Navy had all the ships, etc. But hey, the theme represents epic fighter jet flying in any branch and the skill and bravery it takes to be so daring. This is the most epic cover I've ever heard.
This theme, has ALWAYS, given me goosebumps. Ever since the movie came out years ago. This just amps me up for the sequel. Thank you.
YEAH!!!! Me too, has always given the same feeling!!! Wonderful music for a super classic 80s FANTASTIC movie!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH MATE, FOR APPRECIATING MY VERSION!!!! :) :) :)

What I love about you and Enzo music is you two bring these TV and Film theme tunes to life. It's a good skill.
THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH, SIMON!!!!!!! It is a great joy to know this :) :) :)
Why is this channel not bigger!? You're covers are all perfect! Also Kudos for the great visuals that go along.

Just epic, gives me goos bumps!
It is really grandiose to know this!!!!! MANY MANY THANKS, MY FRIEND :) :) :)
FANTASTIC!!!!! It is a great joy to know that you liked my tribute to this super classic by Harold Faltermeyer... it has always been one of my favorite soundtracks!!! I'm very pleased to know that you are a musician too!! Thank you of heart for your awesome comment, Nathanael and I wish you all the best :) :) :)

This tune is so great because you know what's coming next...FULL THROTTLE...FACE MELTING GUITAR...and one of the most memorable opening tunes ever. Gives me goosebumps.
WHAT A FABULOUS COMMENT, MATE!!!!!! You're absolutely right!!! After this quiet and emotionally charged music, the POWERFUL Danger Zone starts... visual and sound MASTERPIECE!!!! I can't wait to recreate Danger Zone too, I love it!!!! Thanks again for your fantastic words :) :) :)
Simply awesome! Your covers are perfect!
So perfect in all senses, music and video... I don't get tired of watching this amazing version and I can bet that mr. Harold Faltermeyer would love it too.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH, FUSION!!!!! It's really fantastic to know that you appreciated my tribute so much!!! I thanks again for your wonderful compliments and for your support :) :) :)
OH WOOOWWW, MAN!!!!! I'm really happy that you enjoyed my work on this video!!!!! It has always been one of my favorite movies!!!!! I'm happy that you are a flying enthusiast and it's a pity that you did not manage to make your dream come true :( Flying has always fascinated me too... but unfortunately, I never had the economic possibilities to at least become a private pilot. Thanks again Mark, for everything :) :) :)
So wonderful
REALLY FABULOUS!!!!! I'm very pleased to know that my tribute to this magnificent movie has given you these sensations and that you enjoyed it!!!! Thanks again for your wonderful comment :) :) :)

@H3CL GRAZIE MILLE, ANDREA!!!!!!
This song will always and forever remind me of my uncle. He was a huge TopGun fan. Tragically he passed away from an accident, So this really hit home for me.
I'm very sorry to hear this :( It happens to me too with certain songs/movies thinking about my father...
You even did the opening text! That's amazing. Gave it the typical camera shake effect as well. And you did the same style with your "I wanted to make this cover...".
This is absolutely brilliant. Well done.
FABULOUS!!!! It is a great joy to know that you appreciated these details and that you enjoyed my tribute to this GREAT classic!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH MATE, FOR YOUR AWESOME WORDS :) :) :)
When being OCD to detail results in perfection. You deserve over a million subs!

Sir... you also deserve the title of genius for cloning Harold Faltemeyer’s talent which nobody ever has been able to do it this good and this professional! I salute you!
This took me back to seeing this movie for the first time!!!! And it also took me to the first time i walked out onto a carrier flight deck to go flying for the first time!!! Not much had changed!!! 👌❤❤ Thanks, KOS!!! The beginning titling was perfect as well!!!

One of the greatest tributes to Harold Faltermeyer😍
It's a real honor to read your special words!!!! I love Harold Faltermeyer's style and his masterpieces...so amazing!!!! Thanks again for your super compliment, Lukáš :) :) :)
In the end, I took inspiration directly from the introduction of the original movie here on TH-cam: th-cam.com/video/bNxvXj9nff4/w-d-xo.html&t
I've always loved the version without guitar too because you can feel all the beauty of Harold Faltermeyer's synths!! Not that I also mind the version with the guitar (Anthem) only that I do not yet have a guitar with the tremolo (essential to play this track). You gave me a good idea though... in the future I will try to make the complete Anthem version with and without guitar so each instrument will have its importance in the respective track! THANKS AGAIN, MY FRIEND :) :) :)
therer are actually 2 versions of the song....this one kicks ass!!
Great job with the intro, sounds perfect. Here's the version from the beginning of the film too

I can't be the only one that grabbed an electric guitar for this, right?
I’m about to buy one just to play along with this track!
Top Gun was the first movie I was allowed to watch in the cinema without my parents. Went with my older cousins. Such an amazing film and this opening music takes me back to that childhood wonder from 1986!!!
