Really? I've tried all of the essential range (of things that I eat) and wasn't overly impressed by any of them. The only essential thing about Waitrose is to avoid going in there.
The pizza I found that aldi wasn't very hot but never want to pay more for a pizza so I add a few jalapeños and a drizzle of chilli oil over it makes it the best pizza ever! Great vid as always
@@Sopherina not sure where reply went but I buy shop brought chilli oil (found in most supermarkets) and I've also made it too with chilli's and oil oil simple and makes good Christmas gifts I also do chilli jam and Christmas chutney

Some of your comparisons for price aren’t always fair. For example in the video the baked beans you chose to compare are an expensive brand within Waitrose compared to Waitrose Essential brand and comparing that to Aldi. The essential baked beans from Waitrose are 35p same price as Aldi. It gets boring if you’re constantly biased.

Waitrose is overpriced and not worth their exorbitant prices, watirose also removes all their negative reivews online that try to warn others about the items they stock

Was I rooting for the supermarket that sells great products at prices which makes most others look like they're taking the p*ss out of their customers? Yes. Yes, I was. I've tried loads of Waitrose stuff in the past, enough to know that there's no reason for me to ever set foot in there again. My grocery bill is about 40 to 50% less than in the bad old days when I didn't know any better. Now I buy 90% of my food from Aldi & Lidl and the 10% or so of branded stuff I prefer I get from the other supermarkets only when they're on offer. Loving these taste test videos!
I think we can all agree that Sophie has massively overrated the custard cream in this video. I'd argue that they are beaten by more than a dozen other biscuits (easily). I also prefer the other flavours of custard cream like the chocolate orange ones you used to be able to get from Aldi (they are now available at Home Bargains).
The biscuit is brown (presumably chocolate) with orange cream instead of custard. Very nice. Think they're about 80p but you get two packs inside. Definitely worth a try if you like a custard cream.

Aldi is lower middle class and Waitrose is upper middle. The quality of the food therefore differs. That's all there is to it.
