"Hunter, I need you!" Cue my heart utterly breaking. Star Wars has come to realize surrogate dad/child relationships are where our hearts are at! And I'm LOVING it!
Well, Lucas did say once that Star Wars was the story of fathers and sons - I think the newer stuff totally honors that. We do love us some reluctant/inexperienced dads fiercely protecting their chosen kids. Obi Wan and Anakin had a relationship that blurred the line between brother and father figure, too. And of course, Luke/Obi Wan/Darth Vader was messy. But we love that shit. And the relationships just keep getting better and more fleshed out. Lucas may have had the vision, but Filoni gets human nature so much more than Lucas ever did, imo.
This show is so bittersweet. This show has action, wholesomeness, comedy, heart wrenching, and everything else. This show has made me laugh at my lowest moments. I love this show and the characters and it hurts to think one day the last episode will stream. Re-watching this show is bittersweet.
:'( I listened to her theme recently and I could fell that there was sadness in it...for her hard life. And things might not turn out well. I was shocked and sad when Omega cried in the latest episode. I didn't expect that-but I should have. She had a hard day, and she didn't understand...she always managed a smile, but there she was broken. And Hunter was there to share in her tears. Along with all of the Bad Batch. But that promise Hunter made was dead serious. He'll protect her forever. :)
@@kibble24 I agree with you completely, Ahsoka's arc was slow and then she became one of my favorite SW characters. The first couple of episodes with Omega was cringe then out from nowhere BAM!!!! "I really love that kid."
Honestly Omega has kicked in my paternal instincts to 110% it is crazy. I just have such an urge to take care of her it is insane lol. This new season has made me so afraid for her haha
That was REALLY good!! They are so sweet and love each other so much. Its like Din and Grogu, instant strong connection. Also her and Wrecker are adorable. I'm loving this series SOOO much. Great work, looking forward to the next one.👍

Star Wars has no doubt the art of mastering our hearts, and this father/daughter/son or brother/sister duos are the BEST. I love the Anakin and Obi Wan, Anakin and Ahsoka, Kanan and Ezra (I think their bond is real underrated tbh) and Hunter and Omega bonds. Thank you for tugging at our hearts by making such a beautiful edit!
They have such a wonderful bond together, it almost reminds me of the Mandalorian and Grogu’s bond. Even though I haven’t watched this show your edits always make the show look more interesting. This edit was really amazing. You did an excellent job. INSTANT 👍🏻

Something I've noticed is that they (the bad batch) never use the fact that Omega is a girl as an argument against her or as a reason for her not being allowed to do something, ex. be part on a mission. The closest I can think of is whenever someone says "The girl", which isn't even used as something discriminating, it's just another way to refer to her.

One difference between Omega and Ahsoka. It took me a few episodes to fall in love with Omega and a few seasons to fall in love with Ahsoka.
To be fair Ahsoka was designed to be kind of annoying and arrogant so that her arc could develop. Omega's just got a different arc.
