    I use cougar paw boots to get right up on the roof to clean them. Take out guards throw them down then throw debris down in a pile and clean it up. Definitely use a hand held blower to blow off roof and clean up. I could do this house alone in a hr.

    When you are having issues with the video image whiting out as you had trying to see the 2nd story gutters, try putting your hand above the camera so you're putting a shadow on the camera lens. that tends to help if you block the glare. When you're using SH, it may be worth wetting down the siding (especially if it is wood) so you do not create clean spots that stick out like a sore thumb. I've not used Elemonator, but usually the pressure washing stores where you get your SH has a store brand similar to roof snot that doesn't have a cover scent that is more cost effective. I primarily do roof cleaning and that is a lot stronger SH mix than what you are using, and surprisingly, a lot more people than I originally though actually like the smell of the SH. It makes them really know the surfaces are clean. I've not found the cover scent to be worth the extra money myself. Customers still smell the SH, no matter what cover scent you try to use.

    Hey John, love your videos man! I’m just starting out my pressure cleaning business down in FL. So I can relate to most of everything you say about starting out. If I can help you, I’ve started just using a leaf blower with gutters and roof debris. Blow it onto the ground and rake it up. It cuts down time and safer without spraying water on the roof your walking on. Hope this helps and good luck to you!

      Ryan Rogula yeah I know some guys do that. I’ll only do it if I’m power washing too, otherwise my customers would be pissed if I got that crap all over their house. I find just scooping it out is no biggie at all but thanks for the feedback!

    What kind of price do you get for a gutter cleaning on a house like that one? Assuming no gaurds and no whitening of the outside...

    John appreciate your videos. It would be cool if you could either provide direct links to the product you use or notes. I cannot for the life of me "make out" what and where I can get the stuff in the white pump bottle??

    Hi John,
    Thank you for your videos, they have been very helpful. I'm looking to make a similar custom skid like yours, it seems like you used a wooden pallet. Have you ran into any issues exposing your wooden pallet to rainy weathers or alike? I would like to use a similar wooden pallet like yours.

      Ryan Kang I just use a pre-treated board. I only need it to last for a season so it’s great, I’ve had no issues exposing to weather and my truck is not garage kept either

    Sorry u broke your phone. My phone goes in a fully enclosed belt holster on my side plus it is in an otter box. Rarely goes straight in my pocket. Still have to be careful I don't bump it. Smaller phones are/were easier to keep on your person than monster screen phones. I also keep my previous / older (so called obsolete) phone around for camera work on jobs so if I break it I won't be so bummed.

    Lol I put my phone in my front pocket to hook up a hose and squatting down there was a quarter in there and it pushed against my screen and cracked it. I break phones all the Time

    ever think of just using a shop vac to vacuum them out?

    • @mikebrown3344
      @mikebrown3344 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's what I use. After vacuuming gutters, I take a pressure wand extender and spray everything out. I never have to get all the way up to the top.

      In places that have a lot of rainfall you have to scoop because it's half mud. You probably live in a dry area

    • @thebat7774
      @thebat7774 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That makes a mess after wet times here in the midwest and will get you some serious upset customers if it blows wet gunk all over the place. Nothing tops cleaning gutters by hand and flushing them out.
