  • After leaving Gros Morne National Park we checked out Arches Provincial Park and headed to the Port Aux Choix National Historic site where we learned some of the local history and searched for caribou. Next we head North and learned about Thrombolites (living rocks) in Flower's Cove.

Just discovered your channel and after watching one video, we subscribed. We are a retired couple who live in Texas. We are planning to visit the eastern provinces of Canada in summer 2024. Your girls are so blessed to have great parents who expose them to so many new experiences. I was a kindergarten teacher, and there was always a huge difference between children who had outdoor adventures and those that sat around watching TV and playing video games. Keep up the great work.

Thank you so much for the kind comment! We hope you enjoy the east coast as much as we did. We both work in education so we can relate to your comment. Giving children experiences and teaching them life skills are so important. Even if someone can’t travel, taking their child to the park, on outdoor walks, to the library, grocery shopping, etc. if all those things could be done regularly it could make such a difference in the classroom. More experience. Less screen time. ❤️

Thanks so much for all these videos; we're planning a similar trip this summer, so they're super helpful! Do you remember if there would be enough parking for a bigger RV (32 foot trailer + van) at the thrombolite trail? I've been squinting at the satellite view on google maps, but it's hard to tell for sure. Thanks again--looking forward to the next one!

Thanks so much for watching. We hope you enjoy Newfoundland as much as we did. There should be enough room for you to park there. We don’t think it gets overly busy so that would be the only issue if the parking lot was full. But we were the only ones there when we went. Enjoy!!!
