Did you hike the Tablelands? That’s really what Gros Morne is all about. One of the few places on earth where you can walk on the earth’s mantle. We too found the “convenience” stores pretty inconsistent, but some were pretty good. Interestingly, the drug store in Rocky Harbor had great fresh fruit and veg, yarn, local craft beer, far more and better variety than the local convenience!
I am loving your videos of Newfoundland! I really want to go, and this is making that wish stronger. Forest bathing, by the way, is also good for your immune system - being surrounded by all the greenery, so that's an extra benefit. That lighthouse in the middle of the forest seems more appropriate as a beacon for aircraft to keep them from flying too low! Thanks for being so positive and interesting.
Do you remember about what dates you visited? You have a fabulous way of describing places. So glad you don't play music when you are talking and music volume is just right. Love the visits to grocery stores. Just like you, I wonder how small towns function.

The name of the Island is Newfoundland pronounced NewfinLAND like the word Understand with the emphasis on the last syllable.
