A camper van is just the best way for trips, you do not need expensive accomodation as you take it with you so that does not limit you as to where to stay. We traveled Tasmania with one and it was awesome
I hope you get your lease of the neighbor's land to pasture the goats in. The goats will clean up below the trees so I'd think the neighbors will like that. When I went out to Calif, gosh 2 yrs ago now, I brought along some freeze dried meals, including turkey burgers and fried rice. I shared with my 93 yr old mom and she liked them, too. All I had to do was ad boiling water and they'd be done in about 5 min.
Make sure that you state the purpose of the lease in writing. For the animals to graze, goats, chickens, ducks, whatever you plan to do on the property. Gardening whatever. That way, in the future no one can say that you didn't tell them that you were going to use it in that manner. Protect your investment. You might also talk to them about leasing with the option to buy in the future. Them the money spent on leasing, or renting, can be used towards the purchase of the land. Just a thought. @Surfer I have spent a LOT of time researching about land and property. I have also researched about medical issues. Whatever State you live in has it's own property right issues. It varies State by State. It is always beneficial to study all you can about ANY subject that matters Legally. When you know your rights it's not as easy for someone to take advantage of you. That includes Attorneys, and believe me when I tell you, they CAN mislead you or take advantage of you for their own purposes. GOD bless

My grandmother taught me about agriculture and when I got grind I went into nurse straight to work and to get my license they had to go to all the seminars and what my grandma taught me is what they said was modern age so I got my license over what my grandmother stop me
Mike have u guys been giving the goats the meds they need, n salt licks with garlic in it, n other nutrients they need cos they can get bad joints n such. U can find out which ones from ur vet, or contact other goat owners, blue cactus dairy goats, Derek n his wife would be glad to give u any info, 💖💖💖💖💖

Modern day farmers have it all wrong. Farmhands should do ALL work on the farm, regardless of how much or little. If not, hire someone else. This idea of working to make it easier for when the farmer is away is nonsense.
Great video! Did you get the dog from the guy that had to sell? Do you feed the dog dinner at the same time so that he likes you also? Most likely he notices that you feed the other animals and wonders where his dinner is.
