    If you think Stoicism is outdated, you're missing the point. Ancient wisdom like this is far more relevant today than any modern 'motivational' fluff!

    I say yes thank you and I'll get right on it. I don't say no I improvise. Resentment from saying no can challenge and even stop somebody's lifepath.

    I started logging my mental health/my emotions and noticing patterns and such in my logs and with how my days typically go and what affects me and why; I need to invest more of my time in and subscribe to this philosophy with more commitment. I hate the fact that I allow other people and outside factors to take my peace away… I need to change that, really want to get better at focusing on what’s in front of me and asking myself whether or not it actually matters and if so, why type shit.

    I am and have, in the past decade, have always continued to grow despite what I may feel. Growth happens when we push past our comfort zone and embrace the pain as our teacher.

    My take away lesson is to differentiate what is in my control and what is beyond my control, so that I can find effective way to respond 👑🤝

    This video really opens up a whole new perspective on how we face challenges! I loved the focus on reframing obstacles as opportunities, especially with the Marcus Aurelius quote. It's a reminder that every difficulty in life can lead to growth if we shift our mindset. Thank you for sharing such deep and transformative insights!

      Nam Mô A Di Đà Phật, cảm ơn bạn đã chia sẻ lời chúc chân thành.

    Thank you for breaking down the Stoic perspective on virtue. How might one navigate ethical dilemmas using the four Stoic virtues?

    • @TheStoicBeacon-TGG

      I completely agree, the four Stoic virtues provide such a powerful framework for navigating ethical dilemmas. When faced with tough choices, wisdom helps you assess the situation with clarity, courage enables you to act despite fear or discomfort, justice ensures fairness in your decisions, and temperance keeps you from being swayed by impulsive emotions. Have you ever faced a situation where applying one of these virtues helped you make a difficult decision?

      I completely agree with you! Having an open mind and a thirst for learning can truly transform the way we approach life's challenges. Stoicism, in particular, teaches us to master our emotions by focusing on what we can control. How do you incorporate stoic principles into your daily life to stay balanced emotionally?

    I have always been one to make sure people get what is coming to them. These videos help me do it with a calmness that is surreal.

      It’s amazing how Stoicism can shift our perspective on situations like this. The idea of letting go of the need to “make sure people get what’s coming to them” can be freeing, don’t you think? Instead, focusing on how we respond to others' actions helps us stay calm and centered. How do you think you could apply this in situations where you’re tempted to react or seek retribution?
