You should try using different sources of pollin because some hybrids produce lower quality pollin.

Hell yeah bro. I can confirm I've pollinated 40+ flowers this year no fruit set yet on my cherilata.

250+ cherilata flowers pollinated, FINALLY have some take. What I learned was use only cherilata pollen (from a fresh male flower, not a dried one) and pollinate heavily in early AM/late night (the female stamens seem very sensitive to heat and desication). And most importantly just keep pollinating

Yay! Congratulations. Also thanks for those important tips - I will only use fresh male pollen as well as try to pollinate in the early AM / late night.

I think today we bought a bread fruit. I'm not sure smaller then jack and spikes are smaller. Wondering if you know if we can grow out the seeds..? You the smartest guy I know out here! 🤗🤗

Yes you may plant breadfruit seeds! But make sure to plant them fast as they loose viability quickly.

Thank you, excellent video!!! Did you say the female flowers become male after you pollinate?

If you have a chance, please try to grow chempedak. Its jackfruit family with better taste (for me)
Miami Fruit sold the plant, contact them if you interested
