I wish Ed would subsidize popular servers pf this quality. Maybe it would make a big mess as everyone would start begging for money but Ed could throw 100 bucks at the 10 most populated servers every month to help them to stay up. It wouldn't be much but enough to show support for these important communities

DDCS server is another dynamic campaign server counting many years of existence, but DDCS is modern warfare server with polished scripted system pushing dcs engine to the limits. Enigma is not first dynamic campaign, but probably first dynamic cold war campaign server.
Great vid. I'm new to dcs and just learned about the enigma server. It seems like I need a lot of practice before playing on the server so that I'm not a burden on my team. What would be a good role to begin? (ie, bomber escort, hunting for unescorted enemy bombers, air to ground... cuz CAP just seems like a recipe for ruining my team's attrition). What aircraft should I focus on learning? Taking into account what's available, type of mission, attrition cost, opportunity cost (if I take one of the few good planes, then someone who's good doesn't get to use it and the team suffers as a whole). I wanna focus on Blue team fixed wing aircraft. Thanks!
So when it comes to “earning” the valuable aircraft, such as the F-14, is it a team effort to earn the airframe? Or an individual effort? So if someone puts in the work to earn an F-14, is it theirs to use? Or can anyone on the team take the F-14 when someone else had put in the work to earn it? This is kind of a make or break for me. I love the F-14 and would make it a goal to earn it, and I’d hate to work for it only for someone else to take it before I can.
Hey, at the moment the F14 and Mig29 are not in the server. Once the stats system is up and running there will be a system in place to earn the F14 by doing some tasks.. kill a certain number of ground targets is confirmed so far. Hope this helps
They key issue to me is - does the Enigma's server have an integrity check enabled. If yes, then all of my performance tweaks by deleting some unoptimized effect shaders won't work.
@@Rhyn0 In lock on times I deleted flare shaders to get from 5 FPS minimums to 40 FPS minimums. I can see during bombing runs that there are some bollock shaders used again! I'm normally at 50 capped and it all grinds down to 5 when dumb bombs explode.
Hi, you need the SU25A that comes with FC3 on this server. Same for A10A and soon the mig 29. Probably best if you buy the FC3 on next sale, should be one for easter
Yes, ypu would need at least 1 DLC. The best one to get is the FC3 pack as it gives you the A10, Su25 and mig 29 all of which you can use on the server, although they are lower fidelity than the more expensive modules.

Enigma Server is garbage the frontline sector is way to small and benefits griefers so they just have to wait at the frontline to grief players who wanna kill ground targets.
Have you checked out the Syria Map version of Enigma's ? The server now rotates between campaigns and the sectors on Syria are much bigger.. but you do have a point that ground attackers unescorted do not survive long over the frontline.. kind of like in real life, no?

As long as you don't teamkill no one will mind. Just fly and learn flying. There's visual ID guides on enigma's discord and mine as well.

individual. killing ground tgts and strategic bombers gives you points which you can use to slot into the f14/mig29

I would pay mothly donate for a cold war PVE server.
