Singapore Naval Base Area

Great to see .i lived there 1981 to 83.. happy memories,husband based there with NZ Army. Beautiful country and people ..

Brings back old memories. My dad used to work for the British and we lived in the quarters along Canberra Road - opposite Jalan Kedai. Used to sit on the little hillock that looked down on the naval dockyard. Spent many quiet afternoons there. The last time I cycled past, a few years ago, the rusty frame of one of the two benches was still standing. There were two benches right up to the mid 1980s).

10.56....... The New Zealand Fern Leaf club until the late 90's. Prior to that it was "Aggie" Westons saiors rest house.....Many a happy time spent there.
