My grandma grew hydrangeas too, then my mom now it’s my turn up at my new house on the Oregon Coast. I’m excited! I cut my melons up like this and store in a big Tupperware in the fridge. It so easy to eat this way and convenient too. ❤

Very delicious- looking fried zucchini and (creamed corn?) In the southern US we fry sliced green tomatoes. You are so artistic with your meal presentation. I’m inspired to do everything well, even if I am the only one who notices. Love the Japanese scenes. Thank you!
it's also very hot and humid in NYC. All big cities are very similar in regards to weather. I love how Japan have so many cooling items made to combat the heat.
I’ll have to try that hydrangea trick next time. I just soak them flowers and all under cold water in the sink for a couple of hours once they start to droop. I can keep them going for a long time that way.

You might try refrigerating the other pieces while you shape one piece, and then pop them all the in the freezer for a few minutes before going into the oven. This can help them keep their shape and stop the butter from coming out when it bakes.❤

I loved the video, it was very elegant, simple and calming. It relaxes me when I watch your videos. I could not miss the fact that for a hot summer evening the clothes you wear are quite warm. I don't know if it is a usual thing in Tokyo to have AC or not, but where I am from only few people have AC in their homes (especially newer apartments and houses). We just went through a heat wave and temperatures indoors are around 31Celsius. So seeing those clothes I instantly felt hotter :)))

Hi Nami! This is now one of my favorite videos with a lot of my favorites too! It is 117 degrees in USA/South Carolina today and we are doing some of the same things! Live the watermelon, watermelon and feta and olive oil I have heard is good! I also loved seeing you pick out the embroidery thread and can’t wait to see your project ! I used to do counted cross stitch but now I just crochet. Every single day! My favorite holiday.

I loved the video, it was very elegant, simple and calming. It relaxes me when I watch your videos. I could not miss the fact that for a hot summer evening the clothes you wear are quite warm. I don't know if it is a usual thing in Tokyo to have AC or not, but where I am from only few people have AC in their homes (especially newer apartments and houses). We just went through a heat wave and temperatures indoors are around 31Celsius. So seeing those clothes I instantly felt hotter :)))
