i love doing pet supply hauls :-) i bought all of this stuff off rat rations! i’ve got a lil cage tour at the end for you guys too, with all their new stuff😝

Love this so much! So pretty and calming! Also I have some bad news about my hammy, so she has started to slow down a bit because she is 2 years old and a few months, she is wobbling and falls over a bit, I feel so guilty to see her in the state that she is but there isn’t anything that I can do to fix old age, I am just trying to take care of her, keep her happy, comfy and warm so she can be as relaxed as possible. I am just trying to think of all of the good times that I have had and I will cut a bit of her fur and place it in a resin mold when she has passed. I just wanted to share this with you because she has been with me for ages and through all of covid, I will update you, but I just mostly shared this with you to share how I feel because I feel like no one understands the pain I’m going through to see my baby suffer :(
Like she keeps on sleeping in random places and I feel so bad because there is nothing I can do besides still give her nice food, clean bedding and the other enrichments in her cage xx
Is there anything you would do in my situation because I am worrying and stressing each day that when I would look over to her cage that I wouldn’t see a happy healthy hammy 😭😭
aw i’m so sorry to hear🥺 i’m in the same boat with my robo hamster, she’s over 2 years as well and is really wobbly too🥺 you sound like you’re doing everything for her, the only thing you really can do for her is make sure she’s as comfortable as possible and show her that she’s loved :( as long as she’s not in pain that’s all you can do for her 💗 i’m sure she knows that you love her a lot, and i’m sure she’s so grateful for you and everything you do for her🥺 it’s the absolute worst seeing your pets get old and frail but at least you can remember you’ve given her the best life and even in her old age you’re doing everything you can for her 💗 it’s so hard, especially when she’s been with you through such a hard time 😔💗 getting some of her fur in a resin mold when she passes sounds like such a lovely idea too🥺😭 i hope you’re doing ok🥺🥺 give snowy a kiss from me🥺💖
Awh tysm! It’s making me tear up just reading this 😭you are so nice and supportive and ofccc I will give her a million kisses from you😘 and I will hopefully get my hands on some resin when her time comes to cross the rainbow bridge 🌈 but I will also be placing some of her fur in a lock let necklace that I have got so that a part of her will always be with me xx
I am trying the best I can to keep her warm, comfortable and to also make sure she gets some porridge and some yummy healthy treats each day 😋 each time that I see her I sit next to her cage and make sure she is ok and that she isn’t in pain, I also take the time to give her a million and 1 kisses and hugs each day so that she knows she is very much loved and cared for 🥰 thanks for taking the time to reply, snowy says thank you for the love and support 🐾🤩I will also keep you updated on her xx

Her cage has changed a bit, but I only want you to see it when it was at it’s best and mostly full and natural xx

And yes it is sad because each time she came out, I would cuddle and play with her and she has and still does put a smile on my face 🥰 I think 3/4 of my camera roll is of her 😂 and In my bedroom, I have got 3 designated big drawers for her belongings, 2 for cleaning supplies, bedding and toys/ accecories and then the other one for all of her food and treats 😂 I must admit I am a little tiny bit obsessive over her 😜 but oh well I am just proud to say that I have got enough hamster supplies to feed and look after a whole entire world of them 🤣
Oh and I just got back from shopping for my little boo and I got some aspen, treats galore and a load of hides and toys for her to enjoy and to fully feel the vibez 🤣🥰🤩

I have 2 baby rats and a have a little cage (60,40,70) i want a bigger cage bc my rats are growing so fast !
Do you know where i can get a bigger cage and not spend to much money?
try looking for second hand ones! on facebook marketplace, gumtree etc, there’s usually loads for sale, i’ve bought a few 2nd hand cages and they’re so much cheaper, and also better for the environment! x

I thought you sounded American then I realised you must be in the UK because of the rat rations haul, then I thought maybe you sound Scottish and now I'm just confused 😂 x

Awhhh tysmmm! I do try to give her the best enclosure, but bad news is I have had to take out quite a few of her toys and climby things because she is getting in with age and has starting to gain an old lady wobble and I saw her falling over a lot of things so now she has tunnels and the chews that she actually likes xx
I am trying to still give her a natural and enriching enclosure, but it gets so much harder when she can’t even walk around her cage without constantly falling on her back xx
