Its not so much the concern of friendship but more of the fact of moral obligations and responsibilities to the large audience of underage minors who watch your videos and are influenced by them. Big fan of Tate but I do think it all happened organically. Chris made a decision that put Jimmy in an incredibly difficult place but at the end of the day they have been best friends or over a decade and it’s hard to just cut him out of the thing he helped build up.

You do know that individual companies can't really pay him that much right? He has such an insanely big channel (200,000,000 overall I think) that a sponsor has to spend pretty much they're yearly budget on sponswering him, which is why in most of his videos he's advertising his own stuff like feastables, so a single company wouldn't really have a massive amount of power of him. So whether you support trans people or not I think it's far more likely that he does, and that's why he's publicly fine with it. It's just occams razor

I know Jimmy most likely uncomfortable to show Chris after transition, but his hands are tied. No notice that chris doesn't get on the screen much after that, but i think it's part of strategy of testing the market. So it's up to Mr. Beast's audiences wether Chris' presence bothered them or not. At this point i think Jimmy gotta refer much of his decision based on datas and numbers, and that's what would decide the existence of his trans friend on his videos.
Yup, Chris knows Jimmy hates the fact it has happened and is perfectly fine with staying. In fact, he is likely told and paid to stay for much more than Jimmy is giving him. Jimmy knows that they have him in a bad position - if he gives Chris a lot of screentime, the quality goes down and he becomes a brainwashing show. If he cancels Chris, he cancelled his own channel and will get totally slandered and ruined online - potentially have lawsuits coming. He seems to have taken the inbetween path, which is to give him less screen time but keep him in the show, hoping that Chris would have enough honour to resign.
