Good upload. If you ever get to visit Plymouth, Greenbank is a busy 2 pump station, as it covers the City Centre.

Nice lights. But what I don't understand is why most appliances these days have two blues on the front grille. In the old days most fire appliances just had one, located centrally. It was purposely positioned there and at a specific height so that it was aimed at cars' rear-view mirrors, and so made an appliance approaching from behind more visible to drivers.

If you can't hear and see that coming up behind you mate you need to hand in your licence!

@@dan9471 .... I'm talking about lights. I've never actually heard light! If you can hear light then you should be on Britain's Got Talent.

@@YelpBullhorn ok mate well the reason there is 2 led lights alternating on the front grill is because not all vehicles on the road are cars, there is also wide vehicles like HGVS which would not see a center light, the strobe effect works trust me, also you have the light bar above the cab, your going way back when we had the big round lamp in the middle, I do remember it. If anyone didn't get out of my way they got the bull horn!

Daniel Prior ..... I actually agree with you on today’s blue lights: modern LEDs are awesome! God knows why any country would choose red or orange over blue. But weirdly, I’ve lost count of the times I’ve pulled over to allow an emergency vehicle approaching from behind to pass, only to be overtaken by other blissfully unaware motorists! Or dickheads, as I prefer to call them.
But going back to blue noise, I really do think today’s electronic sirens are crap. From my back garden I regularly see brilliant blue LEDs tracking along my town’s bypass two miles away, and I can quite easily hear the electronic sirens too. And yet when these same vehicles are right on top of me I really struggle to hear them approaching, particularly in heavy traffic, or when I’m playing AC/DC! And no, I’m not hard of hearing, even after years of worshipping A Whole Lot Of Rosie my hearing is just fine! I’m also well aware that it is an offence to drive with music so loud it prevents you from hearing approaching emergency vehicles, so I do tend to moderate the tunes, especially when the missus is riding shotgun!!! No choice! But even with music playing quietly it can sometimes be a struggle. Somebody once told me it was due to the wavelength of the yelp and wail offerings. Makes sense, I guess. And I’m not the only one that says they struggle to hear them. I think our local ambulances are the worst (West Midlands Ambulance Service). Personally I believe that there’s nothing better at saying “GET OUT OF MY F*CKING WAY” than two-tone horns and a bullhorn!
