Great editing Poh. I was using photochromic lens with RX for my myopia which worked perfectly. The start was pretty dicey with assortment of riders jostling for positions all the way to the start. I did not do too well but still made the cut at the top. First time racing it up compared to my own social ride in the past. The tactic I did was similar by following my FTP zone to ride up like a diesel engine. Now that I know where I stand, training and dieting for the next attempt will help me know how to prepare for it better.
Thanks for sharing! I love how this video conveys the truth of Taiwan KOM being a very demanding event. Good memories from there, I wish to come back one day!
Bumalik pala si Nilo? Way back, he went with us, Tacloban City, Leyte to Manila, he's our climbing assist. I missed that guy. By the way, he's an ex pro. Nice video, congratulations for finishing and to all Pinoys who joined.
He never stopped cycling. After his accident in 2014 he only rested for about a year. And got back into saddle asap 😎 Still very competitive for his category 💪🏼 He's a joy to watch here in Cebu 🚴🏽
Thanks for the sharing. Great to see what's it like to be at the front. Would be nice if the video had your power numbers, just to show what kind of effort to hold that pace.
Great footage bro! I can tell there are lots of amat non-racers there.. riding zic zac, side-to-side, diverging lines without looking in the neutral section. I am eyeing this race.. with 20%, I think 52/36 11-34 may not be enough
Lakay train with 12- 32 then switch over to 12 - 36 during taper and day of the ride. The 12 -36 gives you room to switch from skeletal muscle to cardiac muscles. As always, good coverage of the KOM!
using 380mm handlebar from kocevlo. my GS is shimano R8070 ultegra di2 11 speed. rotor crank 48/32 11-32...oh i have a separate video by the way of kom BIKE its somewhere there
TPU tube quality is still to variable. For single day events, tubeless is a better choice? Unless you are flying out to an event. Stick with butyl lightweight tube.
Tpu is a bit of luck. It's best to install up to 2 weeks before race and must have at least 5 rides on the road to test it. Also consider 2x30g tyre liner to avoid puncture . It line between the tyres and tpu.
thanks for the credit :)
wish we rode together so that i could use more of your clip 😉

Eto talaga ang inaantay ko lumabas idol. Congrats idol 💪🚴
This is a great narration. It's my goal to do this event someday. I'm shocked at the neutral zone crash involving Yates.

The crash that caused Simon Yates bike to break. U could see the jersey no. 1 on the top left. He didn't fall but he rode a broken bike to the top.

is 36 not way too big? planning on training with 50/34 oval, 11-30 then switch to 48/32 round then 11-34 next year
@@anthonyhomercycling I like the 48/32 - 11/34 combo since there is no downhill.
Taiwan mountains is so breathtaking

Curious about the width of your handlebar and the groupset you use.

Grabe lods.. Ang tindi mo talaga.

Surprised to see Joel Bruner. I've watched many of his vlogs (about food) years ago (with Mark Wiens). Cool to see him again.
What 48/32 crankset were you using? Are you running 12 speed with that? Thank you
Rotor 48/32 direct mount to mY rotor 2inPower SL , 11 speed
Thank you! I assume you're 11s starts with 11t. Do you get enough top end speed with 48/11 as your hard gear?
@chesterlabucay2032 I don’t need top end speed for this event.
Great job !welcome to taiwan

I only rode it twice before Taiwan kom. No wonder I did not have enough rest with it.
