EDIT 2: Jackets with zipper pockets are great for TSA too. Put all you on-person stuff in there and throw the jacket through the scanner. Also on security, I am that crazy guy that toes the line with TSA by bringing a bunch of travel safe tools. I have a kit that’s everything from a leatherman and then some (minus knives and saws). It gets searched maybe 25% of the time. I put that stuff in a different bin so that I can enjoy my phone and headphones while I wait for TSA to admire my tools. EDIT: Well, this whole video is pure gold. This is all the best travel tips I’ve realized over the years plus a few new ones. Going on a trip in a few weeks and it’ll be my first tablet only trip. Been playing around with an iPad Pro for a few weeks to get used to it and it’s an excellent device. I realized a few years ago how nice it was to have dedicated travel toiletries and tech, even if it means duplicates. Got my wife sold on duplicate tech. Still working on duplicate toiletries…
Jimmy, you are one of the most consistent, genuine, and talented TH-camrs, not even just in Tech. I don’t travel as much but I swear by packing cubes, nice to see you do too!
If you want a controller, there's some really thin ones from 8-bitdo that have all the buttons but are totally flat. It helps with packing vs the bigger PS and XBox controllers.
If I’m visiting family I only take socks, underwear and passport cuz I leave clothes with them. If I travel overseas I… do the same because I usually buy cheap clothes where I go. And when I come back home I give that away to my cousins as souvenirs. Lol
This was a good video to watch. I pretty much pack like you do. I use 2 packing cubes from PD too.. small and medium (both of mine are in sage color way).. i recently bought a sage colour small wash pouch just as you :). I have the regular pd tech pouch, and am looking at getting either the charcoal or sage colour small tech pouch. Instead of a 12.9”, i carry a 11” iPad Pro. I liked the MagSafe charger from Anker you showed.. looks like a new one.. will check that out. I have a set of tech items that i pretty much use only when traveling. That way it just becomes easier and less confusing. I use a Jansport Right Pack backpack with a f-stop icu for my camera and lenses. Your PD sling when shown kept in the roller seemed like it was sage colour :). Thanks for sharing the video.. was a feel good video :).
What jacket was that? It looked nice. I use a Nomatic Outset Jacket that's pretty awesome for traveling, but I'm always curious about what other people use...
I've never had the TSA ask about batteries that are part of items like a razor - it's the stand-alone battery banks that concern them (without much reason IMO).
Tripped over this channel few weeks ago, staying for sure
same same!!!
I travel quite often as well, and this is the first video literally exactly speak to my style on every thing you have shown

That last bit is ingenious!

peak designs did not sponsor the video, however did you get the products from peak design for free?
Do you have a link for that jacket?
What jacket was that? I like it
Came here looking for the same info, puzzling that there's no info or link...
Nice video. You are quite the organized traveler. I tend to not travel because I dread the whole packing and unpacking thing with a passion.
Can the Peak Design Travel 30l fit under the seat?
What brand of phone case do you use?
I have a question: how do you put the electric razor in a toiletry bag in the check-in baggage considering it has a battery inside?

Very informative video!
Great video. I’ve never heard of packing cubes before. I’m probably going to get some for the next time I travel.
You need to go for the H Mart sponsorship
