I served on a vehicular homicide trial and learned a sobering lesson all of us should heed: None of us should ever wish to be “judged” by a jury of our peers! Meting out a verdict and sentencing should fall to a judge. And let’s be clear about judges who are bought and paid for and are not to be relied on either. The entire criminal justice system is tainted and corrupt.

      1. Not charged at all, as she is some kind of protected victim based on merely her race and gender alone.
      2. Found Innocent.
      3. Given a much much less harsh sentence (probation, a few months, up to 2-3 years max).
      4. In rare cases like this, actually put in prison with a sentence of 16 years.

This reminds me of another case, the wife poisoned the soup, then fed it to her husband. She was in love with a famous movie star, so she thought if she killed her husband, she would be with this other dude. He didn't die, survived, the whole thing unravel. They had a daughter. She tried with a drug cocktail to get rid of her husband, when that didn't work she started online dating to precur a scapegoat/fallguy while trying to keep her hands clean. If she was abused as she claimed, where are the police reports and 911 calls? Packed up shop and got out of dodge immediately after the dirty deed was done, which she should've done that from the start. Can't leave empty handed. Life insurance was the motive.

I googled "Ben and Lynlee Renick" to see if she'd sold the entire acreage (where both Ben and Sam and their families lived) when she sold everything after she killed him. She sold the property for $740,000 in 2018. A judge decided, as of August 2022, that she was ineligible to earn any money from Ben's remaining estate (yea, judge!) and an administrator asked that Ben's daughter be considered the sole heir to Ben's estate.
Ben's brother Sam is grateful that Judge Scheibe stopped Lynlee from being able to collect anything from Ben's estate.
I was hoping she'd left Sam's "half" alone, but she was a greedy, evil b**ch so I'm sure she sold it ALL (the article didn't clarify).
