The Assyrian Empire rose to the highest power and became one of the greatest empires, we fell all of a sudden in 612 BC, and we never recovered. The nations that existed in the same era of the Assyrian Empire, all fell at one time. However, every one of them rose again to power, except for the Assyrian nation. For example, Persia, Greece, Israel, Armenia, Rome, Arabia, and the Turks, all fell at one time and all rose again and all became a country in this era, and every one of these nations is recognized nations in the United Nations in this era. The only country that never recovered to become an independent nation is the Assyrian nation. The people of Assyria are blaming our political and religious leaders for not uniting as one people and one faith. Respectfully, In my personal opinion, our leaders are to be blamed for not being willing to unite our people as a nation of Assyria. It seems to me that each leader may be political or religious, but all are working on their personal agenda. All without any exception are choosing for us not to unite and not to regain our blessed land of Assyria. Our blessed Assyrian name has been sliced to so many names, like the Chaldean, Aramians, Maroonite, Malakite, and on and on with these divisions. When our leaders will put the interest of the Assyrian nation above their own? When are we going to unite our churches and our Assyrian people as an Assyrian nation, regain back our homeland, and preserve our language, history, culture, and faith, all as one. We have been without a homeland for the past 2635, therefore, our leaders should say, let us put the interest, and the security of the Assyrian nation before our personal interest. Wake up, please! We are living in the four corners of the earth, we are losing our Assyrian language, culture, and history, and soon we will vanish completely as a nation on this Earth.
